Sophie P.O.V

"Hello Lady Sophie, please take a seat." Councillor Emery said when I came in.

"Thank you." I replied, curtsying before sitting in the chair he pulled out. We were in his office which had light Sapphire Blue walls, a large seating area with different shades of darker blues. There was touches of Silver and gold throughout.  All of a sudden, a knock came from the door.

"Ahh yes, Mr. Forkle is here." Emery informed. Councillor Lying Curls (Yes I do still call her that) went to get the door.

"Apologies for my tardiness. I had a meeting with the collective before I joined everyone here today. Before anyone asks, I will not be sharing Mrs. Foster's biological parents. I do however, have a proposal." He apologised.

"Alright then. Have a seat everyone and let's begin. Mr. Forkle, you may share your proposal." Emery urged.

"Thank you. Since it's quite clear Mss. Foster does not want to become a councillor, and would like to someday settle down, I wouldn't mind putting together a list of 30 people whom she may choose from, that she is not related to." Mr. Forkle proposed. I smiled so bright.

"You would do that?" I beamed. I hugged him when he nodded.

"As touching as this is, how would you know they aren't related? You don't have access to any of the Matchmaking files." Emery countered.

"I realise that, but I can always shorten the list of options to people I know for sure are not related to Ms. Foster." He explained.

"I'll agree if you let us send one councillor to help you. You may choose who, and then you may erase the memories if you please." Emery concluded after a few minutes.

"I figured you would say something of the sorts, so I chose who I would like in advance, with the collective. We would like to work on this with Oralie, if that's alright." He responded. I let out a sigh.

"Is something wrong, Lady Sophie?" Oralie asked me. I held back my growl, which thankfully no one noticed, before answering.

"No nothing is wrong. I'm just relieved that I get a list. Even if it means only having 30 or less options to choose from. Plus, I think I already have a good idea of some people I might want on my list, that will probably be there. When will this list be done? I promised Biana they could apply for their scrolls tomorrow." I asked. Mr. Forkle's eyebrows shot up at the name.

"You saw your friends? I thought you haven't talked in 3 years? That's what Mr. tam said at least." He pointed out. I blushed at Tam's name and he gave me a look that seemed to say "Tam, really? I didn't realise."

"I ran into Tam in Atlantis and since Grady and Edaline are away for 2 months, they agreed that I could invite them over to stay for a month. So we're all reconnecting. It's...interesting. I mean the dynamic has definitely changed. A lot." I explained.

"It should arrive the same time as your friends, but I'll see what I can do. Well, I guess that sums this up. I'll be on my way. Thank you for your hospitality, Emery." Mr. Forkle bowed.

"My pleasure. Goodbye." He waited as Mr. Forkle left, then turned back to me. "Anything else Lady Sophie?"

"Nope! I'm all good. Thanks for this." I said as I curtsied. Emery just smiled and noded his head in a bow. I smiled back and left.
