Marella P.O.V.
"EVERYONE! SHUT UP!" I shout over the chaos. Everyone freezes, going back to their original seats.
"Thanks. That was giving me a headache." I explain.
"Now that we're normal, let's do something!" Biana cheers. I roll my eyes and sigh.
"What should we do?" Keefe asks with an evil glint in his eye.
"We should play mafia!" Sophie exclaims. We all look at her confused. She explains the rules.
"So first we pick a narrator. Then, everyone puts their heads down, while the narrator picks the 3 different roles with taps on the head. The first role is Mafia. When the narrator says Mafia, put your head up, that person puts their head up and points to a person they want to kill(Not for real but in the game). Then they out their head down, and the narrator calls on the Angel, who points at one person they want to heal. After the Angel puts their head down, the detective puts their head up, and points at the person they think is the Mafia."
"Can you do an example?" Linh asks. Sophie nods.
"So let's say I'm narrator. Everyone would put their heads down-don't actually Keefe. Then I would come around and do different numbered taps, 3 for Mafia, 2 for Angel, 1 for detective. In this let's just say Biana is Mafia, Tam is Angel, and Marella is detective. I would call on Mafia first. Biana would quietly point at someone. So she pointed at Fitz. Now she would put her head down. I call on Tam now. He has to point at someone he thinks the mafia would kill, and heal them. So he pointed at you, Linh. Lastly, Marella would lift her head and point at who she thinks the Mafia is. Sh she pointed at Keefe. Now I tell a story on who dies and who lives." She finally finishes.
"I get it now!" Linh says.
"Who's the narrator?" Fitz asks.
"I'll be narrator first since I know how to play." Sophie suggests. Well all nod.
"3 taps for Mafia, 2 taps for Angel, 1 tap for detective." I feel 1 tap on my head. Sophie calls on mafia and Angel, and before I know it, she calls on detective. I lift me head and look around. It's probably someone unexpected, like Dex or Linh. I point to Dex. Sophie smirks knowingly, and I quickly put my head up.
"Okay everyone, heads up!" She calls. We all look up and blink. She starts the story.
"One day, a group of kids was walking. It was late at night, around 10. 2 of the people, Dex and Linh, decided they didn't want to go, and stayed home in the huge mansion they all shared. When the others got back they came to Dex with a knife in his stomach, and Linh over him crying, trying to make him better. Marella was studying to become a detective at the time, so she was inspecting the scene, trying to figure out what happened. Linh luckily got Dex to the treatment room in their house, and got him stable. Marella figured out what happened. Also I forgot to mention this in the rules before, but now you have to vote on who you think the Mafia is." Sophie adds.
"Linh." Fitz says.
"Fitz." Biana disagrees.
"Linh." Dex says.
"Dex." I say, hoping it is.
"Hmmm, Dex." Tam agrees.
"Marella." Linh shoots me an apologetic glance.
"Oooooo. Plot twist. I say Marella." keefe teases.
"Since it's a 3 way tie, Biana has to vote for either, Marella, Linh, or Dex." Sophie explains.
"In real life it probably would be Marella, no offense, but in this case it's probably Linh or Dex. I'm going to go with Linh." Biana concludes.
"So close! Dex was Mafia, Linh was Angel, and Marella was the detective." Sophie explains.
"Maybe we shouldn't play this game anymore." Dex says. We all agree, and go to eat something from the kitchen.
