Aria had decided to get to know Laxus, or at least observe him, so she was currently sitting in front of him and Gildarts.
"By the way, you went and got expelled? Lame!" Aria laughed as Gildarts mocked Laxus.
"Shut up, you old fart!"
And then, "Gildarts! Fight me-" Natsu was quieted as Gildarts smashed his fist into his forehead, and Natsu was sent into the ground.
"You should rest," Gildarts said.
"Mhmmm, and stop trying to pick fights with everyone. There are some fights you just can't win," Aria smiled, nodding solemnly.
Laxus asked, "In one blow?"
"It's more fun when you can do it without touching him," Aria grinned as she swirled her magic around her fingers.
Moments later, Aria's eye was twitching, from shock or a hint of jealousy, no one would ever know, as Laxus and Gildarts were suddenly in line for Erza to 'nurse' them back to health.
"And I was having fun with those two," Aria sighed, getting up to find someone else to talk to when her leg finally gave out and she fell face first into the dirt. "Owww," she whined. "Oi, Wendy," Aria said. "I know those...males blew you off for nurse Erza, but I'm in need of assistance and I'm smart enough not to go to her."
-
"Everyone, brace yourselves and listen well. I have an extremely important announcement to make," Gramps said from on top of some boxes.
"It's not gonna be important." Aria was sprawled in the dirt, to the right of the crowd.
"From the day we return to the guild from Tenroujima...I'm gonna introduce a women's only dress code! You gotta choose between a nurse outfit or a school swimsuit!"
Aria sighed, but it turned into a yawn half way through.
"Master... This is no time for jokes," Mirajane stood threateningly behind Gramps, and Aria had to bite her fist as she stood up.
"I'm sorry! I was just caught up..."
What Gramps was supposed to be saying was that the S Class Wizard Advancement Exam was on hold. Of course, the people taking it were disappointed, mostly Natsu, but it was the logical thing to do.
After those events, Aria watched from afar as Laxus pulled on Lisanna's cheeks.
"What're you doing?"
"Well, I was wonderin' whether you were the real deal," Laxus said as he repeatedly patted her on the head. Aria smirked from a few feet over, lying under a tree.
"I am! How rude," Lisanna exclaimed.
"Don't bully her too much, I'll feel sorry for her," Ever said.
"Such insight...as expected from Laxus," Freed said. "You would learn from him.
Aria furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "Insight?"
Bixlow turned to his babies, "Y-you think?"
"You think, you think?"
"Enough! I told you I'm the real Lisanna!"
"Okay, okay, my bad!"
Aria frowned from the sidelines as she watched them all interact. "I'm always watching people, but I never know how to join them once I've started observing," Aria mused, before starting to get up to find other people to watch creepily. But, not as much as Juvia...that girl could get scary.
"Oh, Aria," Evergreen said. "Come over here!"
"H-huh?" Aria blushed slightly as attention was pulled to her.
"I said, come over here! You didn't even say hi," Ever requested.
"Okay, okay." Aria sat on the ground next to Ever, with her knees pulled to her chest. "Hello," Aria awkwardly greeted Evergreen, totally unlike herself from earlier. Laxus' eyes drifted to her for a second, before he realized and pulled his attention back to Lisanna. But Lisanna had realized this, his waving hands had faltered slightly when he set his sights on Aria, and she swore he was blushing.
"Ohh?" Lisanna grinned at Laxus.
"Ohhh?" Laxus' eye twitched, and he felt the blush grow a little.
"Ohhhhh," Lisanna nodded, continuously slapping at Laxus' hands.
But Lisanna wasn't the only person who had noticed Laxus' distracted stare, as Freed was always closely studying Laxus' movements. But Freed wasn't sure how to handle the information, so he turned to Bixlow, as Evergreen and Aria held each other's attention.
"Laxus?" Bixlow questioned Freed, who nodded. "He was staring at Aria?" Freed nodded again. "And he blushed?!" Freed nodded again, more urgently this time. Bixlow's eyes lit up from under his helmet. "Leave it to me," Bixlow grinned. "I'll get them together."
"Together, together!"
"That's not what I'm asking! What I'm asking is what I should do about this!"
"Should their ship name be Laria or Araxus? Araxus sounds better, I think."
