Ingredients: 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup heavy cream or buttermilk, 1 egg, (optional) 1 1/2 vanilla, and 1-1.5 cups of add-ins.

Instructions: 

1. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Like the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

2. For this step, you need frozen butter. you cut it with a pastry cutter two forks or just smash it with your hands. So you work it in with the dry ingredients.

3. whisk the wet ingredients together. Like the vanilla, egg, and heavy cream or buttermilk.

4.  Mix the wet and dry ingredients together. 

5. form into a circle or wedge

6. brush with heavy cream or buttermilk.

7. refrigerate for at least 15 min.

8. bake until golden brown. So pretty much for 20-25 min in a relatively.
