Me and Asher were lost in the middle of New York with no money what ever and dead phones. Very convenient right?

I sighed,"Maybe we can ask people for directions or find a map." I suggested.
"Yeah, that's a pretty good idea."Asher agreed. We walked around looking like tourists trying to find the Times Square.

"Jesus you would think there would maps around here."Asher groaned scratching his head.

"Maybe we could go to shop and ask for directions?" I implied.

"Yeah we could try that."Asher agreed.
We decided to go into a some fancy Italian restaurant that was right next to us. The restaurant seemed like a cute place probably on the expensive side but cool overall. As Asher and I stride into the place we were greater by a man wearing a tuxedo and holding some menus.

"Ciao! Welcome will you two be needing a seat?" The man questioned.

"Umm well we were wondering if we could get some directions." I told the man.

"Sorry I can't help but will you be needing a table?"The man insisted.

"No we're good. Thank you." Asher said.
We turned to leave the restaurant just to watch rain come pouring down from outside the glass doors.
"Shit." Asher mumbled. I hesitated as I opened the glass doors walked outside into the window rainy air. I shivered it was freezing if only I had brought a jacket. "Since when did it get this cold?" Asher grumbled crossing his arms across his chest.

"Dunno." I responded as the wind whipped my hair in my face.
"Hopefully we can find a map soon we're going to be drenched by the time we get to Kaliey's place." Asher stated to me.

"Oh! I finally found a map!" I said relieved. Asher and I had been walking for a while now and I finally stumbled upon a map.

"Okay so we're here and n house is over..." Asher examines the map and points to a street on it. "...here."
"That's a good seven miles from here!" I gape.

"I doubt we could've walked that far." Asher try's to reinsure me. I look around for a clock. I spot one and gasp, we had been walking around for almost two whole hours!

"It almost seven already!" I tell Asher exhausted.

"How about we rest somewhere and wait for the rain to stop." Asher asks.

"Sure." I agree with him and look around for a place to sit. Asher finds a bench under a roof outside of a shop.
We sit down our muscles aching. We just sorta sit their not saying anything. I can tell he feels uncomfortable.

"So..."Asher begins starting to make a conversation, "why did you cheat on Ryan?"

Yeah I was procrastinating. I promise to have a new chapter by next week or so. Anyways thanks for reading my terrible story.
