"Bri?"

"Yes, Dove?"

"How long is this gonna take?"

Sabrina sighed heavily. "I'm not sure. Hopefully not too long. You'll be good on your own with Doctor May, right? I can always reschedule my appointment for another time."

"I'll be ok. I was worried about you" Sierra replied.

Sabrina smiled down at her fondly. She wrapped an arm around her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I appreciate it. As long as you're ok though, I will be too. We're in this together right?"

Sierra smiled back. "Right."

"Sierra Aldridge? Doctor May is ready for you" A nurse said.

"Ok" Sierra stood up, looking back at her sister once more before following the nurse. They broke into lively conversation before disappearing down the hall.

Sabrina swung her feet aimlessly. Normally she would've been attending her little sister's session, but she was nearly 12.  She might feel a bit more inclined to open up to the doctor without someone hovering.

"Sabrina Aldridge?"

Sabrina looked up upon hearing her name, rising from her seat. The nurse beckoned her to the hall leading her past multiple doors until they stood before the one with, 'Doctor Nickles', painted on the front.

"He's already in. Just knock when you're ready" The nurse said.

"Thanks" Sabrina replied, nodding politely before she left. She turned back to the door, giving it a gentle knock.

"Come in."

Sabrina opened the door and stepped inside the room. A wooden desk sat in the middle of a very 'earthy' feeling room. Wooden chairs rested along the wall, which appeared to be hand carved. The couch she'd become all too familiar with rested just in front of the desk. Cloaked in luxury red velvet, smelling distinctly of maple, it felt oddly welcoming. Despite the circumstances surrounding her presence.

"Make yourself comfortable. I'll be out in just a moment" A voice called from within the bathroom behind the desk.

Sabrina obediently walked over to the couch, laying down on it. She took a deep breath reveling in the momentary peace she felt.

This of course was dashed as the bathroom door opened, Doctor Nickles stepping out. He dried his hands, tossing a used paper towel in the trash. He then pulled his seat out from under the desk and plopped down with a small 'thud.' He gave a warm smile.

"Good afternoon, Sabrina. How are we feeling today?" He asked.

"Ok. For now, at least" She replied, partially returning the smile.
