Kurapika looked over at Melody as she yawned, sighing quietly and telling her that she could leave if she wanted to so that she could get some sleep. She nodded and said her thanks before leaving the room so that Kurapika was by himself.
He waited a little bit longer for his daily update before his phone pinged.
H: nothing unusual today. Her bond with Uvo is getting stronger, though. Better watch out ;)
Kurapika sighed before replying...
K: Just proceed to keep an eye on her... And tell her before she finds out.
He set his phone down, glancing up at an eager Basho.
"Is she alright?" He asked and Kurapika was silent for a moment before he answered.
"Yes but she is growing attached to the enemy." The blonde replied and Basho wasn't sure what to say about that.
You looked around the field of clan members, smiling while the children played and their parents scolded them for being in the mud.
A young Kurapika approached you with a handful of flowers. "These are for you."
"Thank you." You reply and leave to put them in a vase. As you stepped into the house, your mother smiled and put the flowers in a vase. As she gave you a tight hug, she said...
Your eyes slowly opened, your mind being pulled from the dream. And you from the bed.
"Its time for your lessons, (y/n)." Hisoka purred while he grabbed your ankles and pulled you out of the bed. With a sigh and a glare, you stand up. The first thing you noticed was that Uvo wasn't there. "He went out to get a few things, your lover will be back."
"Hisoka, Uvo and I are not lovers." You tell him and he raises an eyebrow.
"Really?"
"Just forget it..."
The day was slow, mainly just because Hisoka's lessons bored you. This time you finished later than usual and ate a late lunch. Uvo still hadn't returned.
"What was it Uvo went and bought?" You asked and Hisoka shrugged.
"I don't know any more than you do." He replied. "Want to go out for dinner?"
"Its a little early for dinner." You reply.
"And?"
You sigh, seeing no way around the question.
"Sure. What sounds good?"
He chuckled then. "Oh, I'm not going."
"Then why- no." It clicked. "You didn't."
"I did."
"Hisoka, I told you. We are not lovers!"
You looked in the mirror and spun around in the dress. It was almost as if Shalnark knew this was going to happen when he gave you the idea of buying it.
"Are you sure about this?" You asked and Hisoka smiled.
"Of course, you look-" he paused to think of the word and trying to sound as sincere as possible when he could really care less. "Ravishing."
"Quit lying."
"I am not lying." He insisted and you decided not to argue with him. Putting on the rest of the outfit and Hisoka helping you with your hair, he said, "the restaurant is a walking distance away, so you should be alright."
"Alright with what?" You ask.
"Women are always complaining about how uncomfortable their shoes are so..." He shrugged, not sure how to say it but you knew what he meant.
"Well... Even though you don't have a heart, thank you." You say and smiled, grabbing his collar and pulling him in to kiss his cheek.
Letting him go and walking out the door, he smiled and gently rubbed his cheek as he watched you walk away. "Lucky Uvo..." He murmured.
It was a few minutes walk from the hotel to the restaurant where a familiar figure was waiting outside.
"Hey." You said and walked to him before falling quiet when getting a better look at his all black suit. "Uvo, is this what you were doing all day?"
Uvo chuckled in reply. "No I was causing havoc." He said and you punched his bicep before walking arm and arm into the diner.
"The food was good, did you like it?" You ask while stepping out of the door and pausing to see that it was raining. No- pouring.
You sigh and look up to him. He grinned before sweeping you off of your feet and booking it to a nearby alleyway, a couple blocks from the hotel. Even so, the two of you were soaked and it was cold outside. With a sigh, you begin to pull the pins out from your hair and let it fall to your shoulders.
After a minute, Uvo was holding a pile of pins that you had pulled out. "How many are there..?" He asked, bewildered.
"You'd be surprised." You replied for pulling what seemed like the last one out. As you went to put it with the rest, it slipped from your hand. You sigh and kneeled down to pick it up, slightly startled to see Uvo had done the same. "I got it, thanks..." You say and pick it up then put it with the rest. He smiles, staring at you while the two of you were still crouched low.
You smile back, slowly lifting a hand to his cheek, smiling even more when he leaned into it.
You opened you mouth to say something but fell silent as Uvo moved forward and you accepted the kiss that came shortly afterwards. Your arms moved to around his neck as he braced his arms around you and picked you up as he stood, pressing your lips together fervently and repeatedly. They fit like puzzle pieces, his lips surprisingly soft in contrast to the hardness of his toned muscle.
Pulling away, you say, "We can continue this at the hotel."
He nodded before gently setting you down.
When at the hotel, you anxiously removed his bowtie while the two of you kissed and stumbled to the bedroom.
Hisoka, in his own room, grabbed a pillow and placed it over his head, getting ready to attempt to block out the sounds.
