"You can't keep waiting for someone like me, I'll just hurt you in the end."
"You wouldn't."
"What makes you think I wouldn't?"
"You would've done it countless of times before, but still you don't."
All his life, being called a Bastard would be considered a trigger word for him, because that was what he was. A bastard of a man that gave her ailing mother hush money upon finding out about his existence. The man whose blood runs through his own had made him the man he was today, cold, calculative, and distrustful of any ounce of warmth and comradery that would be given his way. It was why he was who he was today, a wrestler that would constantly use his body on the line if it means letting out all the pent up anger, he had for himself and for the man he had the misfortune of calling his father.
With the tides moving, he comes toe to toe with a woman that was different from everyone he had come across, the first woman where he didn't need to hold back and be himself with both inside and outside the squared circle. The woman had become his kryptonite in the cruel world he was forced to live in. The stone cold heart he had to project now slowly melting away, but in the process of the cold melting away in his beating heart, the winds had also changed and he was to come face to face with the man that was supposed to be his father, the man that wanted to finally be a part of his life.
In the moment where he was finally in the brink of accepting the fate he was part of, the worst part of his life comes crashing into everything he had made for himself. A scandal so great that he could lose everything and everyone he had ever loved in his life, including the woman that was finally getting the attention she deserved.
The Bastard was to make a choice, to be part of something that would consume him for all that he was and destroy him for everything he was built for himself or to stay in a world where he was not a Bastard but a God that he finally deserve to be in the world he chose to live in.
