"Hey." I smiled, skipping into the man cave with Charlotte.

"What- I did not say she could have a job here." Ray said, pointing a finger at me. Henry and jasper didn't look up. They were too busy playing cards.

"Chill. We just have a school project." Charlotte explained, sitting down next to jasper and making him let go of his cards.

"Hey!" Jasper yelled, picking them up before henry saw.

"Can you stop playing silly card games?" Charlotte asked, taking jasper's and Henry's cards. "Jasper you lost and Henry won."

"Yes!" Henry cheered.

"Okay, facts about Hawaii?" I asked, pulling Henry back down as he started dancing on the couch.

"It's in the Pacific Ocean?" Henry suggested shrugging.

"For once, a fact came out of your mouth." Charlotte smirked, writing down facts. Henry looked offended, making me giggle.

"The capital is hanalulu." I suggested.

"Okay." Charlotte said after writing down more suggestions. "Now let's turn this into a story."

"How?" Jasper asked, eating a chip.

"Why not working that brain of yours." Charlotte suggested, already starting our story.

"I have a brain." Jasper remarked. "It's amazing."

"You have a brain of a hamster."

"I wish."

"So, I put at the start that I had just gotten onto a plain. Then a few hours went by before it landed. The sky was a summer blue and the grass was bright." Charlotte shrugged.

"I saw the people dancing to the funky but beautiful music." I suggested. Charlotte nodded.

"I walked along the deck and onto the island. I made it to a hotel that I had booked and walked in." Henry shrugged, taking a chip Jasper was just about to eat.

"Let's try and explain the room."

I walked up to travis' door and knocked. He promised me a date tonight.

He didn't answer.

I sighed and walked to the side window only to see travis sitting in the kitchen, holding a girl's hand. The girl was Bianca. I gasped and felt angry. Not only were the two betraying me, Bianca was betraying Henry.

I ran home, tears smudging my make up.

I slammed the door and heard faint yelling from my mom's room. I then heard a smash and ran into the room. I saw my mom laying in her own thick blood while frank held a broken glass bottle.

"Frank? What did you do?!" I screamed, pushing him away as I tried to wake my mother up. I grabbed my phone and dialled 911.

"Give the phone to me, brat." Frank screamed, taking the phone and holding it to his ear.

"911, what is your emergency?"

"Help. My wife. I got home and saw her unconscious on the floor with blood." He lied.

"Okay. An ambulance is on its way."

"Thank you."

"You liar!" I screamed, about to punch him in the stomach but he grabbed my arm. He pushed me out of the room.

"Shut up before I do the same thing to you!" You threatened. "I'm your father now!"

"You will never be my father!" I screamed, tears threatening to fall. How could he possibly think he could replace my father.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my cheek.

"Don't raise your voice at me!" He said, pulling me by the hair to my room. He threw me in and locked the door.

I kept banging on the door, but stopped when I started sobbing. I held my knees to my chest as I heard the ambulance driving up to our house. I was about to start banging again but thought that they should take care of my mother instead.

I could hear the people talking to frank.
