Tanjiro's POV

"I love you."

Once I realized what I had said I blushed brightly. I couldn't believe I let it slip so easily. I was planning on confessing to Inosuke properly, but I just left so jealous when Aoi confessed to him. I wanted to go up to them and take Inosuke away from her and say he was mine and only mine. Or at least I wanted Inosuke to know that. Damn, how selfish can I be? Sometimes I don't even recognize myself...

"Love... I... yeah, that! I love you too!" Inosuke replied. It took me a second to catch my breath before speaking again.

"Really!? I don't know what to say, I'm sorry for being too pushy, I'm having so many mixed emotions right now oh god I'm such a mess!" I was a mess. First, I wanted to confess properly, then out of nowhere I start making out with Inosuke, then I feel bad, then I want him again. I need to take a chill pill.

"I love you!" He said again.

"Eh," I was starting to think he didn't know what he was saying at this point, "do you know what it means?..."

"Of course, don't think I'm stupid!" He shouted.

"Hehe, sorry. But now that we know we both like each other do you maybe..."

"Huh? You mean-... Shit!"

"huh- what?"

"I didn't confess like I wanted to..." He started looking sad in an instant

"You were thinking about confessing!? I was planning on doing that first!" I said getting closer to him blushing. He just looked down embarrassed. "Wha- there is no need to be shy, it's not like I rejected you, you know?" I chuckled lifting his head up.

"This makes me feel weird, but it's a good weird.", he said straightening up, "I don't care if it's too late to confess, I'm doing it anyways, you're not the boss of me, peasant!" I was about to cry from how cute he was being, but I held it all in and told him to go ahead.

"You make me feel positive and happy even when you're not around, you have a lot of potential and... I think you're cool. So yeah, I like you and you should like me too cuz we can be cool together!" Ok this is when I cry.

"Why are you so cute? I don't deserve you, omg!~"

"Oi, Monjiro why you crying!?" He said poking my leg.

"Marry me already, will ya?" Ok maybe it's too early-

We stayed in my room for a little longer. I cuddled him, kissed him, and pretty much did everything I've been wanting to do for a while, he was confused by some of the things, but after a bit he got more familiar with it and enjoyed it as well. I still felt stupid for getting jealous about Aoi, but things happen for a reason, and I think that event happened to get me closer to Inosuke.

"You didn't let me finish my question earlier," I said as we cuddled.

"What question?"

"Since we both like each other do you wanna... be my boyfriend?" I was kinda shy asking this, even if we liked each other, it still made me feel like I might get rejected.

"Does that mean we can be cool together?" He asked

"Something like that, yeah. So you wanna-"

"I'd love to!"He replied before kissing me. This was his first time kissing me first, it felt amazing.

This day couldn't get any better. I was finally dating Inosuke! I already want to marry him, but it's obviously too early for that. I wasn't sure about telling Nezuko yet, I was too embarrassed to share this with people, even if they were my family. I'll give it some time before I say something, right now all I want to do is fall asleep again, even more if it's with Inosuke. But I can't do that.

I looked at the time and finally realized how long he had been in my room. It was noon and he came to check on me around 9 or 10. I might not even have to tell Nezuko or Zenitsu about my relationship with Inosuke they might already now if we stayed here this long. Oh jeez, I don't wanna know what's waiting for me outside this room.

Nezuko's POV

After we gossiped for a while we noticed how Inosuke was still in Tanjiro's room. Zenitsu and I were fangirling thinking about what they were doing, could they actually be doing it? Maybe? No... yes? Is Tanjiro too innocent for that? Is Inosuke too innocent for that? Am I overthinking? Um, maybe.

"Should I like, burst into his room and wake them up with pots and pans?" Zenitsu asked.

"HAHA WHAT? NO!" I responded, "We don't even know if they're sleep!.. But I'll reconsider your idea..." It was noon alright? If they are sleeping, they will be up all night and that's a fact, I'm going mom mode. I guess we could knock at least?

Zenitsu and I walked up to Tanjiro's door and knocked.

"Onii-chan!!! Wake up!!!~" I yelled. I could hear some rumbling inside... maybe his putting on he's clothes...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). After a minute he opened his door, got out of his room, and closed his door rapidly. 

"What are you hiding in there, onii-chan?~ Oh right, Inosuke!~" I teased. He looked like he was gonna have a stroke after I said that.

"Does he at least have clothes on?~" Zenitsu joined me.

"Y-you guys! What the hell!?" Tanjiro replied, we were laughing our souls out. I told Tanjiro to follow us to the living room so we could talk, I need some updates you know, I don't him hiding anything from me, specially if I ship.

"Spill." I demanded with a death stare looking right into my brother's eyes, making Zenitsu chuckle.

"W-why in front of Zenitsu?.."

"I am hurt." Zenitsu spoke.

"Ok, ok! But I can't believe you told Zenitsu!" Ok, I do feel somewhat guilty for that... but I got some much info from him that I don't even care at this point! Sorry not sorry, onii-chan.

"But he told me some things Inosuke told him so we're even~"

"Yeah, exactly. Now stop trying to get around this because you can't. Tell us everything."

"Fine."

He told us everything, from when he saw Aoi confess to Inosuke to when we knocked on his door, and honestly I couldn't have felt more high. I've been shipping them for so long, even before Tanjiro told me he had feelings for Inosuke, man, even before they liked each other. I swear I have the power to ship two people and make them a couple at the end. Praise me, like Inosuke claims to be a Lord, I should be one too. Lady Nezuko, the love goddess!™ (lmao what)

"You guys are finally boyfriends! I'm so happy!" I blurted out, making onii-chan blush brightly.

"Yeah- Don't say things like that when I'm with Inosuke, it's embarrassing!" He said covering his face with his hands.

"Well, it's not like it's a lie, why can't it be said? Would Inosuke get like this too, or is he the dom?~" This caught me off guard, I laughed loudly at what Zenitsu said. I totally forgot about that! I had to know who was the dominant one!

"I-" He was speechless. Maybe it would be better if we asked Inosuke, but I'm guessing he's asleep. When he wakes up I'll ask him with Zenitsu and Tanjiro can't stop me. We decided to give my brother a break since we were making him too flustered from all the questions we had for him. It was a perfect day, I was happy they were finally together, and I'm sure Tanjiro won't stress out about his chances with Inosuke anymore. 

Tanjiro woke up Inosuke to eat dinner and we tried to act as normal as possible. We gave him a hard time earlier so we did this to be even. When we were done eating we went to bed, but I knew Tanjiro would stay up until Inosuke fell asleep, it's going to be a long time since he slept all day. I hope they can live a happy life together as a married couple, and maybe someday I can live the same thing with Zenitsu.
