You come to keep me company
You give weariness instead of giving hope
You weave an invisible thread;
an unending worry and longing to mend
You grow thorns instead of blossom
You keep me drunk with your poisonous liquor
intoxicating solitude vapors in
day by day, dawn to twilight
flood of what if's keep me drowning
uncertainties tailed me often
people eyeing endless
questions keep haunting
teardrops keep falling
asking the same questions all over again,
“Where did I go wrong?”
