A WARNING

Cloudleaf padded across the RiverClan camp casually, as if up to a hunting task. Though she

wasn't actually going to hunt. She was going to the kittypet-place to meet Fallenheart, a jet

black tom with blue eyes. As she reached the border of RiverClan territory, the white she-cat

froze, glancing around. Something had broken a twig. Her pelt prickled with anxiety, who was

watching her? Surely it wasn't one of her clanmates. "Where do you think you're going?" The

familiar voice of the medicine cat, Aspensky, hit her stomach like a stone. She had been caught,

and there was no way to explain why she was out. "Let me rephrase," the black she-cat padded

out of the brush to meet her, "Why are you going to meet that kittypet again?" "You've seen it?"

Cloudleaf asked with guilt. "Oh, dear, I know all of it," Aspensky growled, "The fact that you are

also meeting up with Blizzardfang is worse. Remember the warrior code." "I know!" Cloudleaf

hissed, "But Blizzardfang isn't that bad, nor is Fallenheart." Aspensky sat down, curling her tail

around her. She looked to the sky, "StarClan will be angry. Keep that to mind." She murmured

before spinning around and walking away into the direction of camp. What do you know about

love? You're just a medicine cat, Cloudleaf called inwardly after her. The white she-cat glanced

around, her ears alert, but there wasn't any sound except for the distant pawsteps of the

medicine cat. Cloudleaf continued on, she wouldn't listen to the medicine cat, but something

about how she had put it made Cloudleaf's paws tingle with uncertainty. Once she reached the

kittypet-place, she leapt gracefully onto the fence. Her tail hung from it and she crouched there,

waiting for the black tom to appear. A few moments later, a dark shape came from out of the

brush and leapt onto the fence, padding across it to meet her. "Fallenheart," she greeted with a

purr, "How's prey running for you today?" Fallenheart's gaze was troubled as he sat down. "Are

you okay?" Cloudleaf more hesitantly asked. Was Aspensky right? Did StarClan make Fallenheart

silent because they were angry with her? But he spoke, "Cloudleaf, I-" he broke off, "Nevermind."

"No, tell me," she insisted, reluctant to believe Aspensky's words. "Well, I was thinking, you said

you had a little family of cats, right?" He asked, and the white and red headed she-cat nodded,

"Er- would you want to join me? I can show you where I live." He murmured, looking up to face

her. Cloudleaf felt shocked, wouldn't he want to join her? "That sounds wonderful," she began

hesitantly, Fallenheart's gaze became worried, "But- but I don't want to leave my-" she broke off.

Fallenheart let out a sigh, "I understand," he murmured, giving her ear a lick, "I wouldn't want to

leave my, er- my housefolk." Cloudleaf nodded, that would be the same for him. Maybe they'd

have to just keep meeting up. A RiverClan scent wafted into her nostrils, it seemed very new

and not too far away. It didn't have Aspensky's particular leafy scent, though. "I've got to go, I

said I'd be back by now," Cloudleaf lied, "I'll see you again." She gave him a reassuring lick before

dashing off into the brush, "Come back tomorrow!" She heard Fallenheart call after, and she let

out a low accepted yowl. As the she-cat ran, she tripped over a rock and it had her tumbling

across the grass. "Cloudleaf?" A shocked yowl came from behind. She staggered to her paws,

shaking her pelt. "Hey, you alright?" The mew got louder. She turned to see the light gray tabby

tom, Rainfall. "Er- yes," she murmured, "I'm fine. I was trying to chase a rabbit, guess I ran too

soon." "Well, I don't smell a rabbit, but maybe that's just me," he mused, with a glimmer of

confusion in his gaze. Cloudleaf nodded, "Probably." She didn't want any more questions. "But

why  were you hunting a rabbit? Aren't fish enough for you?-" "I like trying different things," she

interrupted. Cloudleaf brushed past him and continued on back to camp. She heard Rainfall pad

away. He was most likely confused with her words, but Cloudleaf couldn't possibly tell him. He

was the only tom in RiverClan who actually had feelings for her that no friend, not even her best

friend Oniontuft, could have. It made Cloudleaf a bit uncomfortable, knowing she did not give

him in return the same feelings. The white she-cat pushed away the thoughts and entered camp.

After greeting the two apprentices, Thunderpaw and Leafpaw who were practicing moves near

the fresh-kill pile, Cloudleaf collapsed on her nest in the warriors' den. As she sat there curled

up, she soon lost track of where she was, and that led up to falling asleep...
