King Snuggleray. The King of Pure Heart Reef, he is very well known for his manners and his frightening personal guard. He is very childish yet he will be fatherly to his people. He only is ever seen when he talks to the heroes or when he is with his guard. He has a large amount of trickets and gemstones as he finds them festive to wear or decorate his sea castle. Snuggleray does seem lonely most of the time though his guard makes sure that never happens for very long.

Stinger Night. A guard for King Snuggleray since he saved her as a guppy even despite her species. Since then she guards him with her life, though she does seem to be hiding a secret from the hood Reef which makes her suspicious in the eyes of Shark Mao. Her eyes have a entracing effect on her foes before she strikes them with her stinger, she also used it for acupuncture for the fellow citizens of the Reef. She also remains by the king's side so he is never truly alone, like he remained at her side when he nursed her from being poisoned surface dwellers pollution. She is one of the protectors of the Reef, unlike the heroes she remains by the king's side and rarely parts from his side.
