part 7~

Eddies pov:

After I had hung up with Richie I called my dad explaining everything that happened and my plan. He's super chill and so wanted me to follow through eithSo Rich is coming to pick me up at ten. Right now it's 7pm, and I can't wait for him. I hate living here. My mom's a self centered jackass and I can't live with her anymore. I sat on my bed crying with my bag all packed up. I hate that i'm actually doing this, but I know I need too. 

"Eddie bear come down here!!" Mom yells from downstairs. probably dinner i'm guessing

"Okay!" I run down the stairs quickly wiping the tears off my face "I told you to stop calling me that mom" I say when I get downstairs

"Oh but I can't resist, I love my Eddie Bear!" she starts to walk over to me to give me a hug. I Immediately turn away and walk to get food. I can't fucking believe shes acting this way, after what just happened???? 

"Hey uhm sorry for short notice but dad wanted me to go over for a while, and I really miss him so I wanted to stay for a while.." I choke up some fake tears so this all seems believable. she walks over and wraps her arms around me

"oh yes of course Eddie. I know you miss him. Just have him call when you get there." She smiles and kisses my head

"Okay mom" I sit down and start to eat. After we were done it was about 7:35pm. Still a lot longer until I can go.

(Time skip bc i'm basic and stupid)

Richies pov:

It was 9:40pm as I biked over to Eddies house, to be honest i'm kind of nervous. I really don't know why though. I finally got to his house and went around the back way to his window. I threw a rock at his window to get his attention, yeah yeah i know basic love story. 

Then I saw his face pop up in the window he smiled brightly and waved. Then put a piece of paper to the window that said 'meet ya down in a min'  I gave him a thumbs up and waited.

In a few minutes he walked out with a bag and his bike 

"Richie!!" he ran over hugging me "can we please go now??" 

"Yeah yeah of course." I got on my bike and started towards my house "So Eds you okay?" I look over at him 

"Uhm" He chokes up again and I feel a little sting in my heart "Y-Y-Yeah?"

"Hey hey babe we don't have to talk about it right now, it's okay." 

"Thanks, I'm just glad i'm outta there, do your parents know i'm coming over...?" 

"yeah they do, perfectly fine with it" I smile at him as we come up on my house. I get off my bike and open my arms up for him. He runs into them.

"Thank you" He looks up and pecks my lips

I laugh and show him into the house. "We're hereeeeee!!' I yell out to my parents as I show him  into my room.
