Chapter 13 ll Reunion ll

Days went by, Shika sat in the lounge room, awaited for his brother to wake up. Of course, stubborn Shika would not leave the room until his brother is awake. However, Sakura always threatened him that she locked him back in his room if he doesn't eat or go shower. 

Sakura knew he was worried. Spending times with him got her to know him better. She knows that Shika's brother is very important to him. Probably the only family he had left. 

"Shika...I brought you your lunch." Sakura called out to him. Shika looked up with his tired eyes. 

"Thanks Sakura." he flashed her grateful smile. It broke Sakura's heart seeing how wore out Shika is. 

"Shika-kun, how about you finished up and take a quick nap? I'll stay here and help--" Sakura suggested but Shika immediately interrupted. 

"No, it's okay. I'll be fine. I know my nii-chan will eventually wake up." Shika stated. Sakura sighed. 

"Alright...but you must finished your meal first." she demanded. Shika nodded. He took out the bento box and started digging in. 

"How's thing at the company?" Shika asked. 

"Everything is under control. With Toma help and Naga-kun help, everything is fine. They told me to come here and babysit you." Sakura reported. 

"I don't need someone to babysit. It's not like I'm going to commit a crime." Shika pouted. Sakura pinched his cheek. 

"Ouchhhh....I'm eating, Sakura. Meanie!" he mumbled as she let go. Sakura giggled. 

"Well...if you take care of your health well enough, we probably wouldn't need to babysit you. If everyone your fan girls see this scene, they probably quits the fanclub." Sakura teased. Shika stared at her and huffed. 

"Says what you want. I'm still your boss. No wage for you this month." Shika stated, putting his chopstick down and crossing his arm. 

Sakura's eye widened. "You wouldn't dare..." she said. 

"I totally would." Shika challenged back. Sakura formed her infamous puppies' eyes towards Shika. 

"You're kidding right, Shika. I know you wouldn't be this mean" Sakura said, leaning her face closed to him. 

Shika noticed their close distance. He gulped. Her eyes were so mesmerizing. He was about to lean closer, closing their gap. Sakura also noticed. She wanted to move back but something pulled her forward. Their lips were 1 cm away. Before they could kiss, on the bed, Shika's brother started muttering something. 

Shika and Sakura turned their attention toward the bed. 

"Did you hear that?" Shika asked. Sakura nodded. Both quickly walked up to the bed. 

"Nii-chan, Nii-chan, did you said something? Are you awake? Please give me a signnnn...." Shika stated, his eyes start to brim with tears. He saw his brother's finger moving. 

Shika quickly grabbed the hold of his hand. 

"he's waking up." Shika stated excitedly. Sakura quickly pressed the button to call the doctors. 

"sakura, he's really waking up!" Shika told her. Sakura puts her hand on Shika's shoulder and pats.

"I already called the doctor. They'll be here." Sakura informed. Shika nodded. 

Then the most wonderful thing happened, Shika's brother opened his eyes. 

"Nii-chan! You're awake! You're finally back." Shika hugged his brother. Shika was already crying. Sakura couldn't held in the tears herself. 

The doctor arrived and did all the medical checks. They told Shika that everything was good. His brother can be discharge in 2 days. Shika and Sakura thanked the doctor as he walked out. 

Shika quickly ran to the bed and hugged his brother once again. 

"Nii-chan" Shika called. 

"Shika,"

"I'm so glad you're okay. I thought I lost you." Shika stated.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you. How have you been? Is the company still functioning? Or is it closed down?" Shika's brother asked worriedly. 

"niii-chan! what are you saying? am I that immature?" Shika pouted and huffed. 

"So the company is still functioning probably?" Shika's brother stated with surprised. 

"Don't worry sir, the company is still fine." Sakura spoke up helping Shika. 

"See!" Shika stated childishly. 

"Hmm....and you are?" Shika's brother asked. 

"Ah..I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Sakura Momochi, currently working as your brother's personal assistant." Sakura stated and bowed politely. 

"Ah...I see. Nice to meet you Momochi-san. I hope my brother didn't give you a lot of trouble." Shika's brother stated. 

"Ah..no worry Yokohama-san. Shika was not that troubling." Sakura stated. 

"yah! what do you mean?" Shika pouted. 

"You can just called me Kento. And Shika...you better thank her. I got a feeling that the company was able to sustain was thank to Sakura." Kento stated. 

"Nii-chan." 

Kento and Sakura giggled. Sakura was happy for Shika. She was glad Shika had found his brother. Sakura excused herself, letting the two brothers talked. It was a happy reunion after a long journey.
