Ji

I sat in a chair in the living room as the storm erupt outside, reading the book I had stolen from Alec's personal office.

"Darling." Alec says softly, coming in with a tray.

"Love." I respond, he sets down the tray on the table next to me.

"I brought you some tea." He chimes, I look up from the book.

"I thought you were still in office." I murmur, he smiles and takes a seat next to me.

"I just got home and saw you reading so I thought I'd bring you tea." He says, a small smile tugs at me lips.

"How sweet of you Mr.Newman." I tease, he smirks and stands up.  He separates my two legs and stand in between them, leaning down.

"Only for you, Mrs. Newman." He growls back playfully before placing a sweet kiss on my lips,

"I'm going to go shower and then maybe we can watch a movie or something?" He asks,

"Mm ok." I say, pecking his lips.  His smiles widens and then stands straight and walks out, tugging on his tie.  I return to the book and grin happily at it,

Perfect

A loud thunder erupts throughout the apartment and the rain hits harder against the windows, creating a somewhat gloomy and cold setting.  Alec's tall ceiling to floor windows showcasing a near waterfall. 

Through the rumbles and thunder, you can hear the faint ding of the elevator.

"M-Mrs. Newman." I look up and over at the elevator and the book drops out of my hand.

"Minny." I utter, standing up and rushing over.  He looks up, shaking, face tear streaked.  I pull him into a warming hug, looking over to Mark.

"I saw him stumbling down the street and the rain was getting harder so I quickly brought him in and up to you." Mark explain, looking at MJ with a pain expression.

"Jay h-he..." MJ chokes but I quickly shush him.

"It's ok, you're safe now." I whisper, patting his head softly.  Mark had concern look on his face for his bosses fiancée brother.

"Come on lets get you warmed up." I mumble, pulling away and looking at his face.  His eyes were blood shoot from the tears and his body trembling.

"Baby?" Alec's voice makes MJ flinch, crouching down and I untie his dress shoes.  Slipping them off slowly with his socks, we then move to the couch.

"Ji?" Alec walks down the stairs and his eye lock onto my worry one.  I look away and slide MJ's coat off,

"Can you get Minny new clothes?" I ask softly,

"Yeah I can." Before his foot step descend up the stairs, he gestured Mark over.

"Do a perimeter check and I want you near your radio." Mark nods and Alec hurries up the stairs to get a dry pair of clothing,

"He g-grabbed m-me and...and."

"Hey hey, you don't have to talk about it.  Just focus on your breathin' ok?" I assure, Alec sets the clothes down next to MJ.

"Can you change yourself?" I ask, MJ looked at Alec with scared eyes before return to mine and nodding.

"We double the patrol and are doing a routine perimeter check." Mark's voice hush, my jaw and fist clench as I stare at MJ sleeping body.  To the dull eye he looks fine but you could tell he was still trembling and whimpering.

"Ok, return to your post, I'll radio if I need anything." Alec mutters, Mark stays rooted to the ground; ignoring Alec command. His eyes on MJ,

"Mark." Alec repeat, Mark turned to Alec.

"Sir if it's no burden, I'd like to stay posted by the elevator." Mark requests, his eyes meeting mine.

"If you want." Alec says, before walking over to me.

"He's going to ok." Alec assures, kissing the side of my head.  MJ stirs and his cries get louder, I rush to his side.

"Minny wake up, it's just a nightmare." I shake, his eyes stay close and I pull him into a hug.

"Shh, you're ok, I'm right here.  No one can get you." I whisper, rocking slightly.  He shots up and looks around frantically, his eyes finally find mine and he take a deep breath in.

"I'm safe. I'm safe.  I'm safe...." He mumbles, pulling me closer. Hugging me tightly,

"Min....are you ready talk?" Alec's ask, I send him a sharp glare.

"Y-Yes." MJ answers, Alec slowly sits down next to MJ. I move to sit in front of him, MJ releases a shaky breath.

"I went to a club after work because T-Tobias said we should meet.....meet there and I think in the middle he slipped......slipped something into my drink. I-I didn't know until I started to feel dizzy and I was b-blacking in and o-out. Tobias.....Tobias suggested we get home since he s-saw I.....I wasn't looking well but we didn't go t-through the front door we went through a different...... different door. He pushed me onto t-the bed and then s-starting kissing m-me, I thought it was h-harmless so....so I just went with it until he s-started to unbuckle my b-belt and t-then—." MJ looks down, ashamed.

"I t-told him to stop but....but he wouldn't s-so I t-think I-I threw....threw weak p-punches until I- I got him and...and ran out. I t-think the drug w-was still in me so....so I stumbled and w-wobbled. And....And then h-he found me." MJ looks over at Mark before quickly looking away,

"I was so scared Jay." MJ looks up and my heart shatters, his lips were trembling and his eyes were empty. I grab his hands softly,

"I'll find him." I mutter, his eyes widen.

"N-No!" My eyes flare in anger but I try my best to hide it,

"Tobias is a bad person but he doesn't deserve to die." MJ reasons,

"The hell he does!" MJ jumps at Mark's voice and he starts to shake, I look at Mark and anger was fuming from him.

"Mark." Alec says sternly, giving him a look. MJ whimpers and I pull him into a hug.

You better hope I don't find you or I'll give you hell to pay
