I didn't want to attend the party anymore. I was too pissed off to mingle with anyone. But my dad insisted that I attend the party because I was the CEO now so I had to make a good impression.

Time went awfully slow. People came up to me to spark a conversation with me. I didn't pay attention to any of it. I was glad when the party was finally  over.

I went to my room and closed the door behind me. I was too tired to take a shower or change my clothes so I just shrugged off my blazer and shirt and threw them on the floor. I climbed on to my bed and set my alarm at seven 'o' clock. I switched off the lights and pulled the covers up to my neck. I closed my eyes and instantly fell into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up to the alarm blaring in my ears. I quickly turned it off and groaned. I stayed on the bed for about another ten minutes and then sat up slowly. I stretched my stiff arms and yawned. I got up slowly and walked towards my en-suite bathroom.

I turned on the hot shower and stood under it. The hot shower helped relaxing my stiff muscles. After ten minutes I turned it off and brushed my teeth.

I wrapped the towel around my waist and stepped out of my bathroom. I walked into my closet and chose a charcoal suit. I combed my hair and put on my favourite wrist watch. I applied some of my favourite cologne and went downstairs.

I sat beside Gabby at the dining hall. I loaded my plate with toast and eggs. I dug in. I was hungry and after two helpings my hunger was finally satisfied. I dabbed the corners of my mouth with a napkin and set it on the table.

I turned to look at Gabby who was still eating. I smiled. Today was her casual day so she wasn't wearing her uniform. She was wearing a pink tube top  with torn denim shorts and black knee-length boots. She finished the look with a black shrug over her tube top.

"Today is a big day son. If you need any help you can always call me." Dad said smiling at me.

I nodded and looked at Gabby waiting for her to finish. She wiped her mouth carefully so that her pink lipstick wouldn't get smudged. I stood up, looking at my watch. "Okay dad I'll go to office now. Gabby quickly grab your bag. I'll be waiting for you in the car. Bye dad." I said waving at my dad.

"Bye son. Have a good day." He said before I left. I smiled and nodded. I went to the basement and got into my Bugatti Divo. It was matte black with blue trimmings on the grille and sides of the car.

I started the car and pulled it out of the basement and on to the driveway of my mansion. I saw Gabby waiting there with her bag carelessly slung over her shoulder. I stopped the car in front of her and she got in beside me.

I pulled out of the driveway and on to  the road. It was a short drive from our house to Gabby's school.

In ten minutes I pulled up in front of the gates of her school. It was a private school and it's grill gates were huge and painted in black and gold(school's colours).

Gabby got down and closed the door. She waved at me before entering the school. I waved back and smiled at the school. Even I had studied here. I missed this school.

I heard a horn honking behind me. I turned my head around to see Jessica was honking at me. I narrowed my eyes. She didn't seem to notice me which me even more mad. I took a U-turn and smirked at her as I passed by her car. She narrowed her eyes at me. I could feel her glare drilling into the back of my head but I kept my eyes on the road.

I pulled my car on to the driveway of my office and parked it in my private parking space. I got into my personal elevator which led straight to my office on the 45th floor.

My office was a very spacious room which consisted my personal bathroom. One side of the room was fully covered in thick glass so I could see what was going on outside. The door which led to my office was also a glass door with a handle. The walls were crimson and the ceiling was very high. There was a large desk in the middle of the room with a revolving chair behind it and two leather chairs across from it. The desk had a computer and a telephone on it.

I stood in front of the glass wall and looked outside. The workers were working on a condo and you could hear the noise. I saw Jessica's car pull over at a distance from the condo. I pressed my hands the wall and leaned in closer for a better look.  From up here I couuld see that she was wearing a red business suit with matching heels and her hair tied up in a ponytail. She went inside the building with rolled up papers tucked under her arm. So she was the one working on this project.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in." I said without turning.
