Arranged marriage is a horrible concept in Pakistan not because of the concept itself but because the husband & the husband's parents are all dumb assholes who just want a new maid and the mother is excited that she will no longer be everyone's dirty rag.
If you want to prove this generalisation wrong, do better and be different from the stereotype. We can only win these wars with our effort and love.
