Its currently 10:30pm as I'm making my last errand run for the night before heading home. I've got to return my books to the library and pick up Wendy's before they both close at 10 tonight. Pulling up to the public library in a rush, I parked curbside and when I opened my door I heard a loud thud. Frantically I hopped out the car and looked around to see a body laying down next to my car.
"Oh God, please don't be dead," I said to myself bending down towards him. He has a little blood coming from his busted lip but luckily he was still breathing. He was just knocked unconscious. Not knowing what to do I panicked and quickly took him to the passenger side of the car and placed him into the seat. He was a pretty skinny guy and I workout daily so it wasn't too much of a struggle to carry him. Well, I carried his top half while his feet dragged but regardless it was easy. It was late at night so there weren't any other people around, lucky me.
I drove off with the stranger still in the car, I didn't know where I was gonna go but I drove anyway. "Agh!" there was a groan that came from him and I think he was waking up.
A couple minutes later he woke up fully and sat up quickly. "What? What the hell! Who are you!?" he yelled. "What happened?" he felt the blood on his head and panicked even more. "Did you do this!?"
"Yes but, it's just a scratch an-"
"Am I being kidnapped?" he cut me off. "Help! Help!" he started screaming.
"HEY HEY! Would you chill for a second? You're not being kidnapped." I said and I simply explained what happened.
"Then where were you planning on taking me?" he asked.
I shrugged, "I don't know okay, I didn't want to just leave you there!" I exclaimed.
"Well can you take me back? I left my car there," he asked and I nodded turning around.
When I took him back there was a tow truck parked there. "Wait.. is that- THATS MY CAR!" he panicked and jumped out running to the guys towing his truck. "Can you put my car down, I'm right here."
"You were parked in a fire zone sir," the guy said.
"I was only supposed to be gone for a second but I'm here now and I can move it, just give me my car."
"Sorry, too late, you'll have to pick it up from the impound," the guy hopped into the truck and drove off.
"Aww noo!" the boy yelled angrily.
"Umm hey, I can take you to the place to get your car back," I offered.
He looked up, "yeah okay," he said gloomily and got back in.
