You were raised by a single mom. Apparently your parents decided it was for the best that you were raised away from him. You thought he was a drunk or drug addict but no one ever told you.

That was until the accident. You were about 13 when it happened. You were in your room reading and doing a paper for school when...

"Y/N!" You heard your mother call out your name and you froze at the next sound.

Gunshots.....footsteps....

You shoved a change of clothes and threw on some slip on shoes and grabbed a bat from the corner of your room. There they were. A drunk male with blood on his shoes and a gun in his hand. He aimed the gun at you.

"Say goodnight princess. heh."

But just before the gun could fire he was knocked to the ground by a.... skeleton?

He was covered in some kind of goop but had golden outlines the same color as his visible eye. The skeleton had 4 tentacles coming out of his back.

"W-who..?" The skeleton walked a few steps forward before crouching down to meet your eye level.

"You look like her." he had a small smile on his face and helped you up. You almost came to his shoulder, even at 13.

"Who? My mom?" You asked. He nodded.

"I know somewhere safer." He took your hand and everything went blurry for a few seconds. when you regained your vision you were in front of a large castle. You were in awe before the skeleton started walking toward the doors.

"HEY!" You ran to catch up with him.

"I never got your name! I'm Y/n!"you said.

"That what we agreed on." He said quietly.

"What do you mean you agreed on? My name?"

"Yes your mother and I both agreed that's what your name would be." You stood still for a few seconds before hugging him.

"I've always wanted to know who you were." You said.

"I love you Y/n."
