Chapter 18

You were on the way back to your house with Yoongi, Mia and the others since your mum wanted them to come over.

You couldn't stop smiling when you looked at your engagement ring and Yoongi. It was like you finally accomplished a dream you never even wished for.

After smiling and driving for about 30 minutes you guys arrived in front of your house. You rang the door bell and your mum opened it.

"Mum!" You hugged her and she hugged back.

"Oh sweety! Come in you guys!" She said as she broke the hug and invited the others.

Everyone sat down. "I heard Yoongi proposed to you!" She said as she brang a plate that was covered. "Mhm he is now my fiancé!" You exclaimed as you looked at Yoongi, sitting down next you.

"I can't believe my daughter grew up so much! Here I made a cake for you two!"

She uncovered the plate. "Mum you didn't have to!" You said as you hugged her.

"Come on let's take a group photo!" Chimed Namjoon as he took his phone out.

Everyone stood behind the table while you and Yoongi were in the middle holding hands.

"Okay now just Y/N and Yoongi! Everyone out!" Demanded Seokjin.

You and Yoongi stood there holding hands waiting for Seokjin to take the picture.

"Oh come on guys! You guys are engaged! Kiss you guys!" Chirped J-Hope.

You and Yoongi looked at each other nervously, and then Yoongi cupped your face and kissed you.

Everyone cheered and took pictures and you broke the kiss for air.

You looked at Yoongi and all you could see was stars in his eyes. He looked happy and you didn't want to leave his side. Ever.

From there, you all celebrated your proposal with laughter in the air and eating lots of the cake.

THE NEXT DAY.

You were currently in your living room looking at bride dresses in magazines and catalogues.

"Y/N?" Your mum called as she entered your bedroom. "Yes mum?"

"Here I wanted to give you this." She placed a dress on your bed. "Mum what is this?" You said as you looked at the dress. "It was a dress own by many generations and I wanted to pass this dress to my daughter who is growing up so fast!" She exclaimed as she pinched your cheeks. "I hope you give it to your future daughter who gets married." She added on while tears were forming. "I love you!" You hugged her while you and your mum cried, hugging in one spot just feeling the bond you couldn't feel the past few years.

"I want you to be happy and make sure you live well and I don't want you to hurt yourself! And I know Yoongi will be there to look after you but make sure you look after him okay? You wouldn't find another guy like him!" She softly chuckled. "I would do anything to go back in time honestly. I was such a horrible mum, just kicking you out because of grades and school! I shouldn't have put that much pressure on you."

"Mum you did that for my good. You did that because you wanted me to be successful and wise and I realise that but don't ever regret what you did in the past. Just live your present and future cause that's what important right now." You smiled wiping the last tear dropping off your mum cheeks.

"Come let's go enjoy breakfast with Mia!" You nodded and headed to the kitchen with your mum.

One day you're going to be with Yoongi and your future children, having breakfast, lunch and dinner together.

You were so excited to get married to Yoongi that you wanted time to go faster but time has been going slower than other days. You just felt like it.

"Hey Y/N do you wanna go bride dresses shopping later?" Mia asked. "No I already have one!" You replied looking at your mum with a smile. "Y/N from where? Did you know?"

"Oh mum gave me a dress so I don't have to go brides dress shopping." You answered then you sipped your orange juice.

"I'm just so excited to see my best fri- no sister getting married!" She squealed.

"Just wait till Taehyung asks you out!"

"Oooh what's going between you and Taehyung?" Your mum asked towards Mia.

"N-Nothing!" Mia nervously chuckled as her face turned bright red.

"Oh come on! I see the way you and Taehyung look at each other!"

"And you're blushing right now!" Your mum finished off.

"What!? No!"

"Just wait! I can feel something good is going to happen to-"

"Oh shiz Taehyung told me to join him for coffee later!" She squealed showing you the text Taehyung sent.

"See my instincts told me!"

"Oh shut up Y/N!"

"Well what are you waiting for? Go get ready for your date! Y/N help her!" You nodded and dragged Mia to your bedroom excitedly.

You were helping Mia do her makeup while you two talked.

"Y/N I know I'm being cheesy right now but honestly I can't believe we have been friends since 4! I can't believe that you're getting married already!" She chimed.

"Mia! Why are you using the terms best friends? We are sisters, not by blood, but from the heart! And don't worry you're gonna find someone soon!" You chuckled as you finished her makeup. "Done!"

"Wow! Y/N you're so good at makeup!"

"I know! Now hurry! You haven't got long till Taehyung is picking you up!"

MIA'S POV

You opened the door to see Taehyung waiting with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey!" You said as you poked his shoulder.

"Oh he- Mia you look pretty!" He complimented which made you blush. "Thank you and you don't look too shabby yourself!"

"Ready?" He asked as he opened the car door. You nodded and went in.

TIME SKIP

"Hey Mia I've been wanting to ask you something and I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship right now..." There was a long pause until Taehyung spoke again. "I was wondering if you would want to be my girlfriend? Its fi-"

"Taehyung I would love to!" You tried your best not to shout and jump around. He smiled and hugged you and you did the same.

"But lets try to get the others to speculate!"

"What do you mean?"

"Like we try to act like how we were but here and there we will give clues like that?"

"Sure! That would be pretty fun baby!" He blushed when you said that and you couldn't stop yourself from pinching his adorable cheeks.
