IZUKU'S POV

Where am I? I asked myself for the second time since regaining my consciousness, staring at a barbed-wire gate in front of me. Behind it, a wide expanse of dark, tall trees glared back at me mysteriously.

Unconsciously, I pushed open the gate, rust-coloured liquid trickling from the soles of my feet, seeping into the damp soil.

I walked, pushing tree branches out of my way, stepping over roots and leaves. Feeling something click in my mind, I jerked up.

This... What am I feeling? This is somewhat nostalgic... Have I been here before?

Eventually, I heard the faint sound of something bubbling and rushing, like water. I staggered towards it, my body suddenly feeling very hot.

Pushing past the last few branches that led me to the sound, I arrived at a clearing. In front of me, a large blank patch of grass separated me from the bank of what looked like a river.

Woah...

In the moonlight, The sight really was breathtaking. Moonlight shone clearly from the sky, its' rays of cold light hitting the river directly. The water rippled and shone, reflecting, yet, at the same time, capturing the light perfectly in its' watery embrace.

It looked like moving crystal, like moving glass.

Suddenly, I felt an irresistible urge to dip my feet in.

Ah... What's wrong with me, my body's been moving on impulse from the moment i've woken up...

I treaded closer to the river, stopping at the edge. I looked down into its' twinkling depths, sitting and smoothing my hospital gown between my legs.

So pretty...

I extended my dirty legs, hovering just above the rolling water.
