Jess' POV
I turned around and gasped in horror. James had just told everyone. Everyone was transfixed on Lexi who was on the floor.
Chelsea ran over to her siblings defence.
"Lexi, I'm sure Blake didn't mean it" she smiled offering a hand.
"Just fuck off yeah" she snapped before getting herself up and pushing everyone out of the way.
"Let's continue with the party yeah?" Shannon squealed before draping herself over James. I rolled my eyes.
"Jess did you know?" Barclay whispered into my ear.
I turned around to face him. I nodded my head. I felt his grip loosening from my hand.
"Barc?" I croaked out. He turned away and left in the same direction of Lexi. I was just stood in the middle.
I had to give Barclay some space so I walked over to Shannon, Blake & Chelsea.
"Get out yeah?" I asked politely.
"Erm, no, come on Jamesy" she pretty much screamed in her annoying baby voice.
"Er I think you should go" James suggested and I folded my arms across my chest.
"But Jamesy" she pouted.
"Just get out" I snapped pointing at the door.
"Fine" she threw her arms in the air.
"I'll show you the door" James smiled.
I spun around to see the party in full swing. I sighed heavily. I quickly ran over to window to make sure the skank had left.
My hand flew over my mouth. The other rubbed my eyes to confirm what I thought I saw.
I blinked heavily.
Shannon's arms were draped over James' shoulders. His hands were placed on her waist. They were in a deep, heated kiss.
This was not what Lexi wanted or needed.
~ Barclay's POV ~
I followed Lexi out into the garden. Thankfully no one had come out here let. I saw Lexi in the treehouse at the end of the garden. There were lights draped all around the trunk and fairy lights were around the banisters.
"Lex?" I called out quietly.
"I'm up here" she responded.
I began to clamber up the wooden ladder. I saw her looking out over the horizon.
"Barc are you okay?" She whispered.
"I suppose" I replied before sitting down beside her, allowing my legs to swing beneath me.
"How come?" She asked, facing slightly towards me.
"It's Jess" I croaked out.
"Barclay, don't blame Jess for any of this, I told her not to tell you, because you might tell James" her face dropped.
"What about James?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, nothing" she shot back.
"There's something, you scrunched your nose up" I pointed out.
"Oh, okay" I agreed. I wasn't gong to let this slip but I had to leave it at that.
"I don't really know what happened" she admitted after a short silence.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
A small tear rolled down her face, she wiped it away with the back of her hand.
