I ran as fast as I could, my heart was beating so fast I tought it was going to jump out of my chest. I only stop when I got home, my save heaven, I knew no one would bother me here. I step out of my clothes and ran myself a bath so I could take away the blood and the dirt from my skin. I couldn´t stop thinking about the prince as did so, his eyes follow me everywhere. "What is happening to me?" I kept thinking, no mather what I did the prince never left my mind. I fell asleep still thinking of those deep blue eyes and how just staring at them made my heart beat so fast and my body so warm. I felt safe with them.
Early in the morning I was already at the castle. News of what happen last night and the return of the Prince was already the new gossip of every lady and gentelman of the court. From what I could ear as I clean up the windows, Prince Eric had return late last night riding with a few of his riders like he had came out of a battlefield.
- I heard he kept talking about a warrior that save his life - one of the ladys said
- I heard it aswell - another of the ladys agreed - I wonder who it was... he saves the Prince´s life and then just vanishes like that.
- He must be hidding something...who wouldn´t want to be congratulated over something like this? Imagine the riches and titles he would receive...
The ladys kept talking as they walk away but I had already heard enough. He hadn´t told anyone about the fact that it was a woman instead of a men who save him, probably because of his pride. Wouldn´t it just be embarrasing to know that a woman was the one that save his life. The Prince was just like everybody else, he had to be better than others and take credit fo it. At least he told them a warrior had save him instead of telling them that he had done it by himself.
The rest of the day went by smootley, thankfully I didn´t come across the Prince or else he might have recognise me and wouldn´t that be fun?
At the end of the day a royal announcement was made. Hiding so no one could see me, I look for the messenger, but for everyone surprise it was Prince Eric himself doing the announcement.
- I make this announcement directly to the person who save my life the previuos night. I wish no harm to him, I wish only to thank him for his actions. I already know your face I only wish to have a name to connect to it. Nothing would bring me grater joy than to thank you in person, face to face. If you would give me the pleasure of your company I will be in the place where we fist met, alone. And that is all.
The Prince left soon after than, chosing not to spend much time with is accomplices.
My mind was still trying to assimulate what I had just heard, so many where passing through my mind, but first I had to leave my hidding spot and return to my duties before anyone notices I´m gone. Should I go? Or should I just ignore him? What if he is telling the truth? But he could be lying... all this thoughts and more where crossing my mind as I made my way back home. I could risk everything by going to his meeting but I think I would never forgive myself if I didn´t go. Even thought I know it´s probably wrong to do this I couldn´t elp myself. I had to see the Prince again.
