Today was the day Johnny was coming home. He was only away for a couple days, but it felt like an eternity. Darry sent me and Dally to pick up Johnny because everyone had work but us.
"You ready to go, Darling?" Dally asked, as he place a hand on my back.
"Yep, let's go." I said as I slipped on my jean jacket.---
Dally's POV
We got to the hospital and Darlene was walking ahead of me. "She's so beautiful..." I thought.
"What's that?" She asked.
"D-Did I say that out loud?"
"Yeah." She said as she blushed and smiled. She drove me crazy. I'm gonna tell how I feel. Tonight.---
Darlene's POV
Dally is so damn cute...but we gotta focus on Johnny, so let's do that. We walked to the front desk, and I asked for Johnny. They said that we could go help him.
"Hey Johnny!" I said as I hugged him.
"Hey man!" Dally said doing the same as me. I can't help but admire Dal. He's so cute. Johnny is too, but he's a couple years younger than me, and he's like my brother. We left the hospital and decided to stop at the dingo for milkshakes. Johnny and I were real excited about it!When we got there, we sat at a booth and ordered.
"How you guys been?" Johnny asked.
"Not very great without you around." I said.
"You scared the shit out of us, Johnny." Dally said while gently shoving Johnny. We walked home in comfortable silence.Dally's POV
I'm going to asked Darlene out. I just need to build up the courage to.
"Hey, Darlene, can I ask you something?"
"Sure...everything okay?" She asked, concerned.
"Yeah, uh, will you, maybe go out with me?" She looked at me with a shocked look on her face. I couldn't tell if she wanted to say yes or no.---
Hi! I know this chapter is really short. Well, all of them are pretty short, but only because it's kinda hard for me to keep long chapters interesting. This is only my first story, so I'm still practicing I guess you could say. Stay gold!!
