Everything Ended Unexpectedly

I didnt understand what had happen... All of us where on black clothes .. Most of the people crying including me.....   without any knowledge of what was going on and with the question : "Why that had  happen to him and not me??!......."

I can’t believe everything ended like this; two days ago everything was perfect, two days ago I wouldn’t suspect it would end so fast so… unexpectedly.

I can’t stop crying, I can’t turn to see his coffin, where is his body, which less than two days ago had life. I was lost in my thoughts when I heard his father asking me to go and say a few words in his memory...

4 months earlier

I was in math class wanting it to end, is not that I do not like math but I couldnt stand Sophie anymore. Sophie is one of the prettiest girls in school and she has a boyfriend named Jason Drew which she never stops talking about, Jason this ... Jason that.

Jason has been with me at school since kindergarten, but honestly I have never spoken with him, practically I don’t know him but I have had enough Jason thanks to Sophie.

Sophie was telling something about going to the movies with Jason when finally the bell rang, I rushed out of my classroom to the cafeteria. I was buying my lunch when someone covered my eyes. “I know it’s you Conrad” I said,  “Aw Rachel, how can you always know it’s me?”

“Because you always do that”

“Ha Ha you are right I got to stop doing it for a while”

“Yeah you should, come on lets go sit down”

Conrad is my best friend since third grade, he is really nice and he would do anything for me like I would do everything for him. After lunch I had chemistry then P.E. and after that school was finally over, for everyone except, for me, I had to stay and finish some stupid project.

I was at school until 5:00pm; there was no one at school. When I was about to go, heading down the stairs and I fell down . The next thing I knew was that I was on Jason´s car with a big pain on my arm on our way to the hospital.

“Wow you finally wake up” said Jason excited.

“Jason? What happened?”

“You felt down the stairs. It was a pretty bad fall”

“Really? Wow”

“Are you feeling any pain?”

“Yes, my arm hurts pretty bad”

“Well we are going to the hospital, they will check you there”

Then we arrived to the hospital, the doctor checked me and told me I had a broken arm, the doctor plastered my arm then I had to wait for him to bring me my x-rays. I was waiting when Jason came in to my room.

“Aw poor Rachel, she broke an arm”

“Shut up Jason”

“Ha ha I was kidding Rachel, don’t get mad!”

“Here are your x-rays, you can leave now” the doctor said

“Come on let’s get out of here Rachel” said jason .

“You know you don’t have to take me home, you have done much by helping me and bringing me here, I can call my mom”

“No its okay, I can take you”

“Thanks Jason, but no thanks I will call my mom” And then I take out my cellphone to call my mom. The next thing that happen was that he took away my cellphone from me.

“Give it back!” I said.

“Only if you let me take you home”

“Okay you will take me home, now give it back!”

“Let’s go” giving me my cell phone.

My house was really close to the hospital so in less than 5 minutes we arrived.

“Thanks for everything”

“You´re welcome beatiful!”

“ Ughh  yeahh....   bye” I said awkwardly

“Bye Rachel, get well soon, see you later !”
