"ever wonder what's gonna happen to
us when we become adults?" yoongi asked.
i shook my head. "not really."
"well, i do. a lot."
"how come?"
"because, i don't want to grow up."
yoongi looked at the ground instead
of the stars.
i could tell he was being serious.
"but we'll all have to grow up eventually. wait,
why are you already thinking ahead of time? we
still got ten years before college." i said.
"yeah, but my parents want me to know what i'm
gonna do right now, so i can have a good future.
or whatever." he sighed.
"why does that matter? you should spend these years
while you still can, before it's too late. don't listen to
what your parents say."
yoongi nodded, then turned to me.
"i guess you're more smarter then i thought you were."
he said.
"yeah, i'm really smart!" i exclaimed.
we laughed together for a while,
before we both turned our heads to
the night sky.
and once again, the stars greeted us
like old friends.
