He opens the box, confused and flustered and finds a letter, along with 13 tapes with 13 names, the letter reads
dear dad, i am sorry you are reading this as i didnt want my life to end up this way,, but once you listen you will find out why it did. im going to tell you something that i know you won't be proud of, but here goes, I managed to break out of prison, late last night, and i snook past the guards and ran home. five miles. You were passed out on the couch so i quickly grabbed a pen, paper, the tapes, the box and hannahs recording set. You see, i had had this planned for weeks, but last night was the last straw. I had only been in prison for a month, andi. was doing okay i guess, i had so many things on my mind and nothing to distract me from them. but i'll save it for the tapes, all im asking you to do is listen, to all 13 of them, and pass them into the person who was in the tape, after yours. This doesn't mean you listen to yours and move on. I need you to listen to them all. Instruct the next person to do the same. until all 13 people have listened. The 13th person will choose what to do with them, ive chosen the order well. - monty
