I woke up to frantic knocking at the guest room door.
"Who is it?" I croaked.
"It's Millie," she said, just above a whisper.
"Come in Mills,"
She opened the door and slowly walked in, looking sad and upset.
"Hey Mills, what's u-"
"I love you,"
"What? I love you too Mills, it's okay," I said, rubbing her arm.
"I just wanted to say it again, it feels like it's been so long since I last said it."
I stared at her and smiled, "Mills, honey it's okay."
She opens up her arms and did grabby hands, "hug?"
I pulled her into a huge hug and kissed her check and neck, "hug."
