Chapter 4

Maria's pov
After my argument with my dearest husband ,Elena came and took me to another room while going there I saw my dear husband but pretended as if I didn't see him
"So Mrs Rodriquez this is your new room"she said smiling
"Please call me maria "I said
"Okay maria she said smiling again "
I smiled back at her and started accessing the room ,it looked really nice too but not as nice as Alejandro's room but still a lot nicer than my former bedroom
"I will stay in another room as far as not in the same room with him talk less of the same bed" I thought
"You know Mr Alejandro has never brought a woman home before you"she said smiling again
"I guess she is a talkative I thought but I guess I like her "
"Really" I said not that I really cared
"Yes he has been concerned about taking care of the range ,the horses and us the workers" she said "he has always been a nice boss and treat all of us as family "
"Has he "I said
"Oh yes he has always been a nice boss to me"
"So Elena how long have you been working here" I asked out of curiosity
"Well I and giselle actually grew up here and has been working here for over 12 years now" she said
"Wow that's a long time "I said
"Yes it is she said again smiling well let me leave you alone to change and come down ,I talk a lot "she said
"I enjoyed your companion "
"Thanks "she said and walked out
After Elena left the room I looked around the room a bit ,I opened up the windows and there was a nice view of the range and everything from there I smiled
"It looks beautiful I said to no one in particular ."
A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts "come in" I said
"Oh thanks you ma, he said smiling "just wanted to drop your box "david said
"Oh thank you "David
"You are welcome ma" he replied then dropped my bags and left the room .
I turned and looked out of the window immediately he left and started thinking about my life and how it had taken a different turn in such a short while now I was even a married woman it seemed just like yesterday that I was planning about how our wedding will look like with Jose but everything took a different turn I thought .I snapped out of it grabbed my bags opened the wardrobe and got settled in ,I took my bath changed into a skirt and a nice top then I picked up my phone and saw so many missed calls from Jose ,I felt so bad about everything but then there is nothing I could do and I didn't know how to tell him about everything so I did the only sensible thing I could think about at that time I blocked his number and then deleted it
"Knock knock"
"Come in "I said
The door opened and Giselle entered "Mrs Rodriguez dinner is served downstairs "
But I didn't want to go downstairs talk less eat on the same table with Alejandro so I said
"Am not really feeling to well Giselle so can you bring my dinner up here"
"Yes of course ma'am anything for you and should I get the doctor or should i call Mr Alejandro upstairs "
"No don't do anything just get me my dinner thanks and please call me maria okay "
"Okay maria "she said smiling ,Few minutes she was back with my food
"Enjoy maria "she said
"Thanks" Giselle
The food looked do nice and with everything going on today I had forgotten to eat so I digged in immediately and before I knew it I had finished the food and she came up to take the plate too I was really grateful to giselle cause I didn't feel like going downstairs and risking running into Alejandro .I laid down on my bed and fell asleep
