"Everything is so big here," Louis says in awe. His eyes scan the big buildings and Harry grins as he pulls him out of the way of other pedestrians.

"Watch where you're going, you loon," Harry chuckles at him and Louis blushes and clings to his hand tighter.

"You sure this is okay? No ones going to think we're gross?" Louis whispers nervously. He's glancing at their intertwined hands repeatedly and then looking at the people on the street. No one appears to be paying any attention to the British couple.

"It's fine. No one cares, baby," Harry tells him softly, kissing the side of his head lovingly. Louis closes his eyes at the contact and relaxes into Harrys tall frame. It's been a whole day since he's arrived and Harry plans on showing him the city and then bringing him out with his friends later that night.

"How far away is the Indian place again?" Louis asks, swinging their hands and practically skipping down the side walk. Harry just rolls his eyes fondly and walks next to him normally.

"Another two blocks. After we eat we should go meet Zayn and then he'll drive us around," Harry explains. Louis hums and nods his head, his eyes still scanning the city with curiosity.

"Don't you get lost here? I would with all the people," Louis continues to chatter. They stop at a crosswalk, people waiting all around them too. Harry wraps his arms around his boyfriends curvy waist and rests his head on his shoulder.

"I don't get lost anymore. When I first got here I got lost every other day, but I know my way around now... Walk," Harry tells him. Louis starts to move with the herd of people and he listens to the sound of talking and cars roaring around him.

"Will you take me to Times Square?" Louis squeaks in excitement and Harry laughs again and nods.

"'Course. Not today though because I have other things planned. C'mon," Harry smiles and he starts to rush through the crowd. Louis giggles as he chases after the lanky boy, holding his hand for dear life. Harry looks back at him and smiles at Louis' crinkled eyes and face splitting smile. It's his favourite sight.

"Watch where you're - Harry!" Louis gasps as Harry bumps into another man. Louis covers his mouth, his hand leaving Harrys and Harry moves to help the other guy up. His bleach blonde hair is sticking up and his cheeks flushed pink.

"I am so sorry. I was distracted and I wasn't looking," Harry rushes out and Louis just hopes the man doesn't snap. He's heard about New Yorkers and their bad attitudes.

"It's alright. No harm done," the man smiles. His accents is definitely not a New York one - it's actually Irish. Louis relaxes at his good attitude and moves closer to Harry.

"We really are sorry," Louis tosses in and the man just laughs it off and shakes his head. Louis examines him and notices he's about their age.

"Seriously don't worry about it. I've run into plenty of people here so I understand," he grins. He seems like a happy guy, someone that you could easily have a laugh with over a beer.

"Alright. Have a great day and sorry again," Harry says as he grabs Louis' hand and starts to walk. Louis looks over his shoulder at the stranger and watches as the man just disappears into the large crowd.

"Why was he so nice?" Louis asks. Harry turns at the corner and the crowd seems to get smaller as they walk down the new street. Louis feels like he can breathe better without so many people around.

"Most people are nice. There are some classic New York assholes, but for the most part people are friendly," Harry says with a shrug. Louis just lets the silence surround them and focuses on the warmth coming off of Harrys safe body and the beauty of the city of dreams.

Louis knows he needs to write something soon so he can convince his parents it was definitely all for school. He needs to start creating a story with magical characters, but he's with Harry right now and he's the most magical character Louis' ever met. Louis has a tendency to create characters that are exactly like Harry. Someone beautiful and charming and smart. Someone that draws people in with their smile and keeps them there with their loud laugh. The only person who's noticed this about Louis' work is Eleanor and she thinks it's cute.

"What're you thinking about?" Harry asks gently. Louis blinks and then looks up and meets his big green eyes.

"Stories. I need to make one for school while I'm here," Louis tells him. Harry purses his lips in thought and looks ahead with his furrowed brow. Louis watches him with a soft smile because he looks like a little monkey.

"I don't know. You're bound to find inspiration here somewhere," Harry tells him and Louis just continues to look at him and nod his head. His inspiration here will be the same it is back home. It'll be a pretty boy, with wide green eyes and a contagious smile.

"I don't doubt I will. I'm starving how much farther?" Louis whines. Harry just stops and turns him so he's facing a glass window that shows chairs and people eating.

"We're here. C'mon you'll love this," Harry grins as he pulls him in. Louis laughs and follows after him, letting the boy hold the door for him.

"Harry, you're back. And you brought someone new," a young women greets them. She's beautiful with her dark skin and silky hair. Louis can't take his eyes off her happy face.

"Yeah. This is my boyfriend Louis," Harry introduces him. Louis smiles shyly and reaches his hand out to shake hers. She giggles and shakes his hand politely, her skin soft which is expected of a girl.

"Hello. Do you want your usual table?" She asks. Harry nods and she just smiles and leads them to the back. The restaurant smells of wonderful spices and Louis' stomach growls loudly as his mouth waters.

"Here you go. Your waiter will be with you soon," she tells them before she leaves again. Harry just picks up the menu and Louis looks around.

"This place is nice. Who showed it to you?" Louis asks. Harry peaks at him over the menu.

"Cara. She knows Sarah - the girl that sat us down. They modelled together," he explains.

"I could see that. She's beautiful," Louis says and Harry nods in agreement.

"I know. She gave it up though because she's getting the restaurant when her parents retire. She wants to focus on one thing."

"Do you know everything?" Louis laughs and Harry just looks down, a smile tugging on his lips.

"Kind of. I know you're really cute," he smirks. Louis laughs and gently whacks Harrys arm across the table.

"You're far too cheesy," Louis rolls his eyes.

"You love it," Harry argues.

"Maybe," Louis says back stubbornly.

"Well you love me," Harry continues and Louis just shrugs and smiles at him.

"Guilty."
