Ava's POV
Why did you leave me? Was I not enough? Was I stupid to think you'd stay? That you would give me the time of day? NO DON'T LEAVE-
My eyes perked open. I was having another nightmare. I need to breathe. In. Out. In. Out ok I should be good. Wait what the- my cheeks are wet. Tears. Again. I wish that I didn't care. I wish that it didn't matter. But it did. HE mattered. He left. And didn't turn back. Not even a glance. That hurt the most. What time is it? 3:06 A.M. I still have four hours before I get up. I turned over and something hit my foot. What the- oh it's my dog cooper. I forgot how big he is (A/N he's a yellow lab)

"Hey bubs" I whispered. "How are you," I said I scratched between his ears. Then I laid back down and tried to get some sleep. Beep. Beep. Beep. I groaned. It's seven already? I sat up and got ready to take my dogs out.
*skip walk*
I fed them and gave them water and crawled BACK into bed. I woke up about two hours later and started to get ready for the day and wore this.

And finally satisfied with my look I got ready to take my dogs out again because it is now noon and I don't need them peeing in my apartment. (A/N she's 17 and is emancipated because her parents were extremely abusive) I was walking them around the pavilion when this super cute guy running towards me and cooper was going CRAZY "can you help me?" "This girl won't leave me alone" he said.

Weird.
"um, I guess what do you need?" "Be my fake girlfriend?" "WHAT" "come on just to get her off my back?" He said. "Absolutely not you could be a rapist for all I know!" I said. "please I'll explain everything and you can get to know me but I need to get her off my back." He said. "hypothetically if I were to say yes what would I have to do?" "We'd just have to do coupley stuff when she's around." "um Idk if this is a good idea." "come on please" he was begging at this point. "Fine but the moment I wanna stop we're done got it?" "Yes thank you so much I owe you," he said.

"And my name is Dylan" At this moment a girl with wavy brown hair and olive skin came up to us "babe what are you doing with her?" She said with disgust in her voice. "what are YOU doing with my boyfriend?" Then I thought I might as well get into the role "Pretty sure this is MY boyfriend and you wish he was dating you now if you could kindly go away that would be amazing." The look on her face made me want to laugh so hard. But I held it in and I didn't even notice that Dylan's arm was around my waist and cooper was frantic at this point. " well prove it." "Kiss each other." She said.

Fine.
she wanted a kiss she would get a kiss. Girls like her pissed me off. Acting like they're entitled to everything and everyone. So despite knowing him for five minutes I kissed him. He looks like he's like 6 foot and I'm 5'8 so it wasn't that big of a difference. But I leaned in and I crashed my lips onto his and pulled away and smirked at her face. "Happy?" She stomped her foot and walked away.

I hated the petty side of me but she deserved it. " well that escalated quickly." I forgot he was there lmao "Can I go now?" I asked. "dang my girl is feisty." "Whatever." I said and walked away. "CAN I AT LEAST GET YOUR NUMBER" he screamed. I sighed turned around and held my hand indicating for him to give me his phone. Once he did I put my number in
Ava
757-496-1843
Then I handed him his phone and walked away. "I'LL CALL YOU." he screamed. I was already walking away rolled my eyes.
And fighting a smile too.
