Waking up in her in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, 16 year old Chloe Lawrence gets out of her bed to prepare for her daily run.
The past few years have been incredibly...different then what her life used to be...
Back in 2018, the 'retirement' of her mother, Clara Lawrence, was brought to the eye of the public. It was really just a cover. Two years ago, the Legendary Dancer passed away from an unexpected heart attack. Not wanting the world to know, 'retirement' was the easiest way to keep the secret.
No one knows about this, other than personal lawyers, the government, Abby Lee Miller, Chloe Lawrence and the select handful the dancer has told.
It was very hard for Chloe. The loss of her mother broke her into a million pieces.
But she was able to get up and continue what she knew her mother would've wanted her to continue. That didn't exactly go as planned.
Chloe Lawrence now lives with Abby Lee Miller. After going through so much, the dance teacher took the young Lawrence in and is now her legal guardian. Abby gave Chloe a real chance of continuing her life after it fell apart. We learn about that soon...
Chloe changes into her running clothes, grabs her phone and earphones, and leaves her room. As she quietly walks down the stairs, she looks to the time her phone read- 4:02am. Perfect! She is just on time!
Chloe grabs a sticky note and writes a quick note to her 'Aunt Abby'.
Left for my run. Will be @ the studio around 9am.
With that, she leaves the house and begins her run around the city, ignoring the slight pain she feels in her right leg...
