Chloe's Point of View

After that, Brady gets me some Pepto-Bismol for my stomach and I take my meds before falling back asleep.

Who would have thought after such a perfect date yesterday I would, A, have trouble sleeping and, B, get a fever?

The 'having trouble sleeping' is something that happens quite often believe it or not (as stated before). From since I've met Brady, I've been able to sleep perfectly though! This is the first time in eleven days I've had any problems. I wish Brady never had to see me like how he did, but hey! He treated me perfectly and took care of me.

For the fever, a part of me knew it was coming from since the first day I took painkillers. Usually I don't take painkillers because I can push through the pain and it's bearable, but for some reason, it's excruciating.

Think about it like how I felt when I was away from Brady.

Turn that into real pain.

Yeah.

After I took them, the pain was still there, but it was a little less. As I took more throughout the week, it stayed the same. I hoped it would do more for me, but I was wrong.

And to repay me, it gives me a fucking fever.

Thanks!

Having to take my sleeping meds was just the cherry on top. A fever, headache and stomachache do not mix well. It got so bad I threw up! Talk about embarrassing. But of course, Brady was the perfect boyfriend and rubbed my back and held my hair as I emptied my stomach.

Oh Brady...How did I get so lucky?

I don't blame my perfect boyfriend for being frustrated with me when he found out the painkillers weren't working. I should've told him, yes, but I didn't want him to worry.

I know what it's like to worry about someone you care about.

But I also know what it's like to stay in the dark about the health and well being of someone you love...

I should've put that into consideration.

I will next time.

-

I wake up with my head ringing. It hurts to open my eyes but once I do, I am met with the most perfect view in the world.

Brady shirtless with damp hair.

Damn! It's like I woke up in a Teen Drama.

From what I can tell of the room, it's a little later in the day. Maybe noon? One? Brady must've just come out of the shower.

When Brady notices me awake, a smile blooms on his face and he walks over to me, taking a seat on the bed beside me.

"Hello Sweetheart." He greets me softly, placing a hand on my face.

"Hi My Love." I greet in return, sitting up carefully to give him a kiss. "I just woke up to the most perfect view in the world."

"And what was that?" Brady asks me, laughing a little.

"You, completely shirtless, wet hair." I list. "If I didn't have a ringing head, I may or may not have pinned you down."

Brady laughs some more and I melt at the sound of it. "Curse your ringing head."

I laugh. "Yeah."

Brady moves his hand from my cheek to my forehead. He brushes it gently with his fingers. "Is it just your head that's hurting."
