"BAM! BAM! BAM!" Ten rolled over drowsily, angrily smacking the alarm clock. Though he had specifically set the alarm to 'APOCALYPSE NOW', it wasn't pleasant waking up to.
Whenever Doyoung stayed over he would force Ten to turn it off and use something different.
Doyoung had been staying over a lot recently. Ten used to share an apartment with his boyfriend Johnny, but exactly eleven days ago Johnny had vanished. Doyoung insisted on staying over in order to 'keep Ten running'.
Quite honestly, him and Johnny were going through a rough patch anyway. Ten would wince every time that he realized that he probably should be more fazed about Johnny's disappearance than he really was. Johnny had been staying over at Mark's house more the apartment even before he went missing, so there really wasn't any gap to fill, and no screaming matches when the taller party came home at 1:00 in the morning.
All in all, Doyoung was very sweet, but Ten was getting tired of pretending to grieve. So what if Johnny was seemingly dead, that bastard was probably out partying or sleeping on the side of the road.
Johnny had once left for two weeks, and it turned out his high school sweetheart had been hitchhiking his way to Daegu and back all while tipsy and in the company of questionable ladies.
And if he was dead, well, that was one less thing to worry about.
With these morbid thoughts plaguing his mind, Ten rolled out of bed. One of Ten's greatest advantages was his ethereal appearance (which he never failed to used to get what he wanted). With lily white skin, upturned eyes, and fluffy dyed blond hair, he reminded one of a pure and innocent kitten.
Sicheng had once remarked that if Ten wasn't such a brat, and Yuta wasn't as amazing as he was, then they totally would've hooked up. This comment had made Yuta wrap his arms a little tighter around the Chinese boy; however Johnny just scoffed and muttered under his breath. Yeah, thinking about it, he and Johnny would've broken up anyway.
A knock at the door interrupted Ten's thoughts. The bed creaked as he slowly rose from his warm covers and padded down the hallway towards the old door.
"Why in god's name are you at my door," Ten looked over at the clock and raised a brow "at 7:00 am, when I could've gone back to sleep."
Jungwoo chuckled "Because one, I'm cute, two, I didn't bring Lucas, which is my display of affection. Also I have coffee."
Hearing this, Ten snorted and opened the door wider, "You make a good point, come on in."
The small uwu filled boy practically bounced into the room, and Ten prayed that the coffee would be safe and sound. He was no addict like Jaemin (cause' damn that kid drinks a lot of coffee) but it was a key element to his morning.
"So other than the fact that you're a beautiful human being, why are you visiting?" inquired Ten as he flopped onto the couch.
Jungwoo shrugged "I just missed you, I also need someone to go over our new choreography, and there's someone I think you should meet". The couch dipped beneath his weight and he brought the cup up to his mouth.
"He's really cute and an amazinggg dancer. I think he knows Mark too." At the name Ten snorted. Mark had broken up with his good friend Haechan, leaving the sunny boy heartbroken for weeks. And yet Mark was obviously still in love with him. Ten had the urge to smack his perfect jawline every time his face was within Haechannie's sight. Not to mention Mark being where his boyfriend ran to in times of trouble, rather than Ten.
The connection to Mark made Ten much less enthusiast about this supposedly hot dancer. But Jungwoo was a darling boy who Ten cared about greatly, and would do practically anything for. When Lucas and his UwU baby had started dating, Lucas would be frequently told by that there were people watching his every move.
"Ya!" Jungwoo smacked the back of Ten's head. He shook his dark locks
"You really should meet him. He also seems like your type, not to mention that you need to move on from Johnny," Ten groaned
"Can you go back to the dumb lovable person I once thought you were?" The smirk plastered on Jungwoo's face told him the answer.
"Come on, practice is at 8:30, I already invited my friend. You didn't have a choice anyway, and if you don't get moving I'll tell Doyoung that you were high on Saturday,"
That last comment was enough for Ten to bolt.
Ten had spent more time at the dance studio than anywhere else. Hundreds of awards covered the wall of his apartment, and Ten had filmed dozens of choreography videos for various dance studios.
He and his cousin Hendery always had a room rented here, and they would often practice with their intertwined friend groups. Ten had taken it upon himself to personally coach some of his less skilled dance friends, and even taught the occasional class.
The room was brightly lit, with speakers throughout the room and three walls entirely dedicated to mirrors.
Today however, there were two large figures in the doorway. The light brown hair of Lucas was most noticeable, but the redhead beside him was a close second.
The smaller figure was tall and thin, with very defined wrists that made Ten want to take him home and feed him. Of course Ten was then automatically speechless at the man when he turned around. Jungwoo smirked at the dumbfounded Ten while the gorgeous man smiled.
"Hi, I'm Taeyong."
