"Twinkle toes!" Wendy rushed over to where Tweek and Tim were standing, saying their last good byes before school started.

"Wendy, stop calling me that," Tweek whined turning to face his friend and embraced her tightly before spinning her in the air around a few times. Tweek placed her back down on her feet, " Tim you remember Wendy right?"

Tim stood behind Tweek and wrapped his arms around him and pulled Tweek closer to him, "Mhmm." Tim's response was short.

Too short.

And Wendy noticed.

"Mhmm, that's it," Wendy asked, annoyance lacing each word, " I'm basically the reason why you guys started talking."

"Wendy chill, he said he remembers you," Tweek placed himself between Tim and Wendy.

"All I'm saying is he could have used his words to reply when he's being spoken to," Wendy motioned to Tim that was still behind Tweek.

"Wendy, calm down," Tweek's voice raised, shocking himself and Wendy. He had never spoken to her like that. Usually she was the one with a stronger personality, but he was not about to let her speak so rudely to Tim when he done nothing.

"I am calm," Wendy practically yelled, " but the more you tell me to calm down, the more I want to punch you in the face."

"Wendy , what the fuck is wrong with you today," Tweek was now yelling back at her. He had broken from Tim's arms but was still between her and Tim. "Is it because I didn't walk with you today, cuz' you said it was ok.'

"I was fine dude! Until your asshole boy toy started acting like he's too good to use words with other people." Wendy's chest was rising with every breath and Tweek knew that she was mad.

No.

She was pissed off.

If this kept going the way it was, he was going to end up with a black eye.

He needed to deescalate this.

And fast.

The bad thing though, was that his mouth didn't get the memo quick enough.

"Then what the fuck is the problem," Tweek asked again, "are you on your period, is it that?"

And that threw Wendy over the edge.

She had been holding back so much.

Tweek was her best friend and she would never hurt him.

Apparently he didn't feel the same.

Tweek was waiting for her fist to connect with his face.

But it never came.

"Fuck you, Tweek."

Wendy wrapped her arms around herself and turned around to walk away from him.

She was hurt, but nothing could ever make her hurt Tweek.

He was the only one that she had.

Wendy quickly walked away from them, tears running down her cheeks. Her feelings had been disregarded so easily by her best friend and he had never done that.

"Wendy, wait, I'm sor-" Tweek began to follow his friend.

"Let her go, love." Tim held Tweek back, grabbing Tweek's arm before the smaller teen could follow Wendy any further. "You guys just had a big fight, hun, let her have some space. Maybe she really is on her days and she's extra emotional right now."

"Y-yeah, you're right. I'll talk to her later. Let her cool down." Tweek thought about Tim's words and let them sink in.

Tim was right. Wendy was being emotional and that usually happened when she was on her days.

"Yea, you're right." Tweek repeated.

-----------

The rest of the day was shit.

Wendy was still mad at Tweek. She didn't talk to him while they were in class like she usually did and she sat with Bebe during lunch instead of with him.

Tweek was really hurt by how much Wendy was ignoring him and now he really did feel alone. The only thing that was helping him feel a little better were the texts of encouragement from Tim. Maybe Wendy was going to need more time. Tim was right they did have a big fight, and for them that never had a fight before, this was something that was going to take some time.

Tweek smiled down at his phone. Tim had just sent him a picture of himself with pepperoni on his eyes, followed by a text that said, "Like my new look?" followed by a series of laughing emojis.

To which Tweek quickly texted back "No lol I like the color of your hazel eyes too much!" and also included his own emojis; that mainly consisted of the heart-eyed one and a kiss-y one. He put his phone away and made his way to his seat in his next class. He did not need for his teacher to take his phone again.

This was a shitty day already.

Tweek did not need to make it any worse.
