Seeing cheryl for the first time in over 5 years brought back so many memories. Then seeing Brooklyn tell me she's been living a nightmare really got me.

"Mom I knew you better than this. Where's the woman I met when you first adopted us? I want that person back and brooks did tell the truth, you do let Roxy talk badly about mom" Naomi said putting Ethan down. "I don't even know if I can even call you mom" she said before grabbing the boys hands and walking away.

"What ever went wrong it's got to be ok" roxy said placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Yea..I hope, let's just go home" I sighed looking at my once family. She grabbed my hand and we went to the car.

"whats wrong?" roxy asked straddling me.

"Nothing, just thinking" I said placing my hands on her waist.

"Is it about what happened at the mall?"

"No"

"Well I'll be in the living room watching movies" she said kissing my cheek.

"Ok, ill be right in here" I smiled as she got off me. She nodded then walked out the room. I moved to the head of the bed grabbing for my phone seeing that I got a notification. I rolled my eyes smiling seeing that roxy posted a picture of me on Instagram.

I feel like brooks saw it and wanted to up her by posting a very sexy picture of cheryl.

Not going to lie my eyes when straight to her chest. I took a screenshot of the photo because why not.

"Hey toni I'm going to my parents house, she asked me to come over" roxy said walking in the room.

"Ok" I said not looking at her but more at the picture of cheryl. I heard the door close and now I'm alone so I decided to call betty over to hang.

Brooklyn

I'm at the park with the family for air and so that the little ones can play around even though they could play in the backyard.

I was sitting alone waiting for my girlfriend, yes girlfriend. Her name is jaylee and she very caring and a clown.

"Brooklyn!!" Jaylee said jumping on me scaring the mess out of me.

"Don't scare me like that" I said hitting her shoulder.

"I'm sorry" she said hugging me and trying to kiss my cheek. "Let me kiss you"

"No my folks are over there"

"I thought you told them you're bisexual? Plus why are you scared? Didn't you say they're gay?"

"Yea but-"

"No buts, I told my parents about us and now it's your turn" she said getting up. "Come on" she said picking me up.

"Fine" I said rolling my eyes. Soon as I turned around I saw roxy sitting with a guy. "Wait" I said grabbing jaylee's hand.

I pulled my phone out and started recording her.

They got up and she kissed him...on the lips. This is going to be good once she say the wrong thing about my family.

"Ok now let's go" I smiled to jaylee. She nodded and we walked over to my mom.

Cheryl

"Hey mom I have someone I want you to meet" brooks said coming up to me with a friend.

"Hey, I'm cheryl" I smiled to her.

"The best mom in the world!" Miles cheer placing his hands on my shoulders making me laugh.

"Well this is jaylee...my girlfriend" Brooks said nervously. I smiled very big at her.

"No need to be scared" I said standing up. "How long have you two been dating?"

"Couple weeks now" her girlfriend jaylee said.

"Couple weeks! Why haven't you told me" I frown.

"Cause she was scared" Naomi said from behind me making me jump a little.

"So I'm the last to know about this? Doesn't toni know?"

"Nope, I don't want to tell her actually"

"Ok, but y'all look very cute together, just don't do anything behind each other's back cause god know I want to go back in time for the things I've done"

"I can never get away from her, she calls me twenty-five eight" brooks said rolling her eyes as jaylee hugged her from behind.

I smiled glad that my daughter is happy with someone. I remember toni and I was the same way.

I groaned feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket then I was shocked that is was a text from toni.

"Wow" I mumbled tapping on the message.

Toni🥺: so I know it's very weird to be getting a text from me but um I was asking if we could meet at a cafe and talk👀

Cheryl👩🏻‍🦰: I guess, what time?

Toni🥺: noon would be great

Cheryl👩🏻‍🦰: ok

I let out a deep breath as I put my phone back in my pocket.

"You look nervous is everything ok?" Naomi asked me placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Yea, I just have to go somewhere tomorrow"

"Ok"
