THE DREADFUL AFRICA
based on the 21st Century incident of George Floyd

Written by: Ordetth Kay R. Komijal

Sit, thinking,..
Living in this tiny venue,
Hearing the sounds of time,
Was it worth to do nothing?
My lovelies out my eyes,
They are shivering,
Cold and starve.

I reach the stairs,
Where I pass every day,
Where the calm change into horror,
Just now its been so warm,
Now, its back on anxieties.

The city was so acceptable,
Just the environment screw its beauty,
Looking all these judgemental faces,
With full of hellish phrases,
Terrified, they got me down.
If only I know,
for this final breath,
I wish I could have a chance,
Just to wish the one I loved,
That I admire them much.

At the side, heard of them,
A few groups of people,
Keep asking.
"What did he do?,
He brought some goods,
For his family to survive".

Take his side,
What would you feel?
