Seungkwan was a bit annoyed. The two guards followed him back to the palace with a bunch of complaints. ❝You should've stayed with Seungcheol! Now shut up, Hansol said stuff about how dangerous this place can be at night.❞

❝Fine, but explain to us again how we are going to apologize for running away?❞

❝I'm.....not sure...❞

❝Do you think we will die?❞

❝Why would you think of that?❞

❝Sorry- it was just a thought.❞ They all made it to the back of the palace. The back doorway was slightly opened from where they escaped. Junhui sighed and shook his head, he knew if they were still excepted it wouldn't matter.

The guard messed up with one of the people here that he liked, Minghao. Jun bit his bottom lip and walked up to the doorway first with the other two right behind him. He took a deep breath before pushing the door open and stepping into the palace. The hallway was empty and poorly lit. All three made it in and began to walk through the halls. ❝Is this a good idea?❞ Mingyu asked the two, he only got shrugs of uncertainty.

❝We should find the princes, they should be somewhere around the palace.❞

❝I got Minghao.❞ Junhui didn't care for their response as he ran off to find the prince. Seungkwan and Mingyu watch Jun run off until he couldn't be seen. They look at each other and decide quickly, Mingyu took Wonwoo and Seungkwan will do Chan. The three were now split into the castle.

Seokmin and Jisoo were walking on the path towards the palace. No words were spoken ever since they started walking on the trail. The older boy still felt suspicious about the Taracs. He just felt like how they treated them is just some type of trick or plan. Why would they keep them there for a month? It was the most confusing thing the boy dealt with. Seokmin caught by how Jisoo's expression was, he stopped in his tracks and sighed. The other also stopped and turned to the younger boy who just stared up into the stars.

❝You have stuff on your mind, what's up?❞

❝It's nothing.❞

❝Cmon now, I told you about me. I think I should get to know you.❞

Jisoo looked at him for some time. He dropped his head and sighed. ❝How can you be so nice to me- all of you guys are. I don't get it, we came here uninvited and yet you've been treating us like we are the most important thing here. It makes me confused...❞

❝Is that why you're like this?❞ Jisoo didn't respond, he just kept his gaze down and his lips pursed. He made it become an awkward situation, the other only thought of what Jisoo said. It is confusing to see them so open and friendly, they were just excited to meet new beings. Seokmin can understand why the latter was confused or annoyed.

❝I can explain more later, but we need to head back to the palace before-❞ The guard was cut off by a loud growl. They both turned to see a beast in front of them. It didn't take long for them to begin running away, the beast right behind them. Seokmin threw fire at the monster as a bit of a distraction. It worked for awhile. The two went behind a bush and hid, scared. ❝Jisoo run and get away from here! I can deal with this!❞

❝What if you get hurt? You might die!❞

❝I will be fine, I have my flames to help me.❞

❝Let me help- Seokmin watch out!!❞ The warning wasn't any help as the beast attacked the guard without mercy. Seokmin tried escaping the grasp but he wasn't strong enough. Jisoo had to think fast, that thing might kill the latter.

He picked up the biggest rock he could carry and threw it at the monster. It flew into the chest of the best and made it stumble. It tracked where it came from and saw Jisoo. The guard stared into its scarlet red eyes as it grumbled. He looked at the helpless guard trying to stand up before the beast started to pounce in his direction. Jisoo ran as he heard Seokmin trying to shout to him, but he was stopped when he met a cliff side. He tried climbing it, but his arm was to wounded to help lift himself.

He panicked and froze as he heard the screeches of the monster behind him. He turned around quickly and looked to see if he could escape somehow, but nothing came to mind. The boy gulped and closed his eyes as the thing rammed into him and up against a rock. He tried gasping for air as he was in the monster's grasp. The thing tightened its grip and choked the boy until he passed out.

The beast was about to slice the boy when a huge wave of fire burnt it's back. It screamed in pain and let the guard fall to the floor. Seokmin winced as he erupted into flames. He sent balls of flaming rocks towards the monsters way hitting it until it ran away into the forest. Seokmin huffed, retracting his powers down before rushing to Jisoo. He panicked as he saw the other bleeding in multiple places but was still breathing.

Seokmin held his tears and he pick the other up, despite being injured himself and ran back to the palace...
