"She Who is Born"
The name’s Melissa. Melissa Kegan. I live in the upstate of New York, and work at a small diner. I was never the popular one. In fact, all my life I have been teased and made fun of, because I live on a farm. Alone. My parents died in a car accident when I was six. I have six siblings, all boys, and all older than I am. Ryker, is 23, Matt is 21, Zach is 20, Jason and his twin, Jeff are 18. And my twin, Mason, is 16, just like me. After my parents died, I was forced to grow up fast. I had to work at a factory to earn money to keep the farm running. I worked from 4:30am to 9:30pm. When I came home, I had to make dinner. But one day, my life changed forever when I walked in the forest and witnessed the calling.
