I didn't know what  to expect when I heard the news of his new mission. I had to be happy for him cause that's what he has always wanted, he wanted to prove himself, show that he was capable of doing things.

I'm Ariel the daughter of the cartel Lord. To people my father Aries Guacamore was a very ruthless man, a man without heart, a man who rarely smiles, a man who doesn't care about who's life is on the line as long as he got what he wanted but I knew deep down who my father really was, I believe he has to appear like that to command respect from others. My father has a lot people at his service and one of them is Ricko.

The first time I saw Ricko I felt pity for him cause I thought he wouldn't last but he proved me wrong and I in the process fell for him.

Getting closer to him I found out that he was just like my father, a strong face and a kind heart. He didn't want to have anything to do with me of course, nobody did but me being who I am pushed my way into his heart, how I did that is a different story for another day.

Ricko has never been given a serious mission before, just few errands here and there, this is not because he's not capable rather because I pleaded with my father not to put him in a dangerous mission. Rick doesn't know about this cause I know how angry he'll be cause he has been trying to prove himself to my father.

Some weeks ago, my father lost a very big deal and he has been trying to find who's responsible for spilling on him, he sent one of his best men to find out and those men had not returned with any news then 2 days ago a video was sent to my father, the video showed his men captured and being tortured by his rival team. Every where has been in turmoil since then, My father sees it as an insult and he is determined to fight back.

My Rick had an idea and he pitched it to my father and pleaded that he gives him the mission. My father doesn't know about me and Rick because that will put his life in danger. I just hope Rick gets his mission done and gets back to me cause I don't think I can bear it if I lose him.

"Ari" I look up and see Rick coming towards me, I've been waiting for him in our secret spot. I stand up and run towards him, he opens his arms and hug me "My Ari" he Pat's down my hair as I cry on his shoulder.

"Ari look at me" he raises my chin "I promise you that I'll come back, I won't die baby and I'll get your father's revenge. It is all I can do for him after all these years" he says to me

"You don't have to prove anything Rick, I have this feeling that something bad is going to happen to you and I don't want to lose you. Why do you feel this need to prove something" I look into his eyes searching for an answer. I understand where the need is coming from, he feels indebted to father and I understand why but he doesn't have to risk his life.

"Ari I don't want to see you like this, I don't like the tears in your eyes"

"Then don't go, if you truly love me and you don't like the tears in my eyes don't go" I coax him

He looks at me with sadness in his eyes "I love you Ari but I have to go, just be strong for me, I promise you I'll come back" he press a kiss to my forehead and puts his necklace in my palm "Take this Ari hold on to it for me and this is my promise to you that I'll get revenge and come back to you my love"

He kisses me full on the lips then walks away leaving me standing there with tears in my eyes ready to drop cause I know fully well what he's about to face some of which he doesn't know yet.
