When I turned around it was a deer. Thank god, but then as I turned back around, I heard footsteps. I quietly and carefully took out my compact mirror that I distinctly remember putting in my right pocket along with some pepper spray. As I took out my mirror, the footsteps got closer and closer. I tried to show no signs of fear. I stood still and pretended to take out my phone and yell at the person I was talking to. I turned around while talking and saw no one there. "NO, MOM I'M NOT HOME YET. I WILL BE THERE SOON. DON'T WORRY. LOVE YOU SEE YOU SOON."

I could see a shadowy figure behind the trees. It looked like a man and he was holding something in his hand. It was shiny. My eyes widened. It was definitely a knife, there was no mistaking it. I started walking holding the pepper spray in my hand ready to use it, when the figure came upon me. Who would be out here in the heavy rain at night in the middle of the woods. Well I am so I guess I answered my own question. No one lives in the woods as far as I know. I've never seen any houses around this part of the woods. Who was he? This was getting really scary but I couldn't show any sign of fear. That would make me an easier target to kill. Was he gonna kill me? Or maybe kidnap and rape me. No, it couldn't be, I am to young to die.

I have to get home fast or at least get help. I didn't have any cell service and no cars drove down this route. I kept walking and so did the man. I fell down from tripping from a rock. The man immediately started walking faster towards me. I panicked. I got out my pepper spray and sprayed him in the face. I made a run for it after kicking him in the stomach. He groaned in pain and what he said next mortified me. "Don't worry, I will come for you. The same I got rid of Jimin." No. No. It isn't possible. He couldn't have. Tears ran down my face as I kept running looking for help. Memories flashed back into my head as I thought about him.
