Its been a month since Mikhiel had taken down amsel and the red army was now pushing the nazis out of russia with unrelenting force and resilience, Mikhiel was sent to the front line and was currently in a well hidden spot. He was picking off german soldiers and flamethrower troops and watching his explosive rounds cause the head and body parts of the hostile grunts to explode into a mist of blood, bones and brain.
Mikhiel got up and pushed forward with his men, he had a ppsh-41 smg in his hands now and his rifle was on his back, he tossed two fragmentation grenades at the germans and fired his ppsh which caused several soldiers to fall down dead and riddled with bullets.
He then commanded the squad to move left and flank the germans so they are caught off guard as he suppressed the German mg fire with a dp 28 he had spotted in a dead comrades hand, he quickly replaced the drum pan magazine of the DP-28 lmg and kept firing until the other men called out to him that they had killed the germans and they continued to push deeper into germany.
Mikhiel broke off from the group to do his own work to help his men, he scaled a large building and got onto the roof which had a lot of cover and a great over view of the battle. he raised his rifle and started to pick off german Machine gunners that manned MG-42s and the anti tank squads that threatened the advance of their T-34s and armoured trucks, each shot that he let lose from his rifle gave him a rush of adrenaline that he had not felt in afew months, each bullet was true on its course as it ripped through the nazi grunts and sanitators.
The germans retreated and they again followed them and by midnight mikhiel was very worn out, he put his rifle down on the ground as he took a swig of vodka that his comrade had given him. this is what he signed up for he knew it was but he was getting too old to keep fighting like this and the war was taking a toll on his mental state. he just needed some rest so he laid down on his back and watched the russian planes chasing off the german stukas and other planes as their tracer rounds lit up the night sky like a light show he then closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
