Chapter 10

Its been a little over a week since that night with Lorenzo and I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the excitement that was my life during those annoying encounters with the stupid man .

Ohhh judge me , my life needed a little action , though I got it in the form of an attempted armed robbery.....

I'm currently in the campus library , doing what? Well let's just say it's not to read.
See , I enjoy reading and all but just not in public places because when I read I feel like I'm escaping into another world and those moments I'd like to keep Private ya know.
So I occasionally visit the library just to check any new additions that might be of interest to me.
So here I am in the mythology section brousing through the ancient books.

There's just something about mythology that pulls at me you know , especially Greek mythology , it's my favorite and I could go on hours reading and I remember how that used to annoy my mother so much but she got used to it eventually.

I've managed to get three books so far , some steamy romance book ,I got earlier (it's not mine, .... Okay maybe it is , sue me) , a fictional novel , I didn't check the cover and a lovely Greek story , its probably a tragic one but those are literally the best.

I decide to call it quits for the day , as I'm about to turn the corner from the aisle I was in I spot them. Looking around for something or someone.
I immediately go back behind the shelf and I start thinking ,why are they here?, I thought Lorenzo was pretty clear no more bumping into each other.

I brave a peek again and they are still there, Pete and Parker. Pete has an annoyed expression and he's beginning to get agitated I'm sure and Parker just looks determined.
I've always wondered who was older between the two but I'll bet on Pete being older than Parker.
He's physical appearance suggests the same too , he's taller and slightly leaner than him. Pete has shaggy brown hair that he probably spends hours running hands through , pale skin and he's always wearing dark hues of color , well all the two times I've seen him that is. He has this calculating look but a subtle boyish look to him.
While Parker is slightly shorter than Pete , and has a darker skin hue. He has black hair that is short and in a fade cut. He has a lean built and has this lighter aura to him , you can tell he's the goofy one and his eyes are a pretty brown .

I really can't believe these two are here , what on Earth are they doing here . Right now all I want to do is slip out before they notice me here because I did tell Lorenzo I'd be clear of everyone and pretend nothing happened last week.
I'm that moment I make my decision I'm just going to straight out walk out and ignore them and hopefully they don't notice me.
So I start walking towards the exit of  the library and I'm almost there just a few more steps and I'm out of the door. I make it to the receptionist's desk and I slightly lift up my head to acknowledge her , giving her a small smile.
That's when it all goes downhill from there , completely oblivious to my predicament she beams and shouts my name and yes you guessed right of course they heard.

"Chichi , bye see you tomorrow!"

She says this with so much sincerity I don't have it in me to scowl at her for shouting my name like that so I wave and Bob my head.
I don't turn to see if the two boys heard because I know they heard , they weren't a far distance away.
I speed up my pace and I hear my name being called again but this time not by the cheery receptionist,

"Chichi!!...Hey"

I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose. I was almost there , so so close to my escape. I turn and face the two young men who are now walking towards me and I just stand there facing them looking as uncomfortable as possible.

"Hey....guys" At least I wasn't like hey you guys that have guns handy and occasionally decide to rob stores.
I was a smart person people, well most of the times.
