Chapter 13

Lorenzo is walking like a man on a mission , he's literally bulldozing his way towards.......I don't even know where they are headed but from what I can see it's downstairs , probably In one of the rooms I haven't been in yet.

We're all going down the stairs now , Lorenzo looks really tense , Parker looks slightly excited and yet uncomfortable and me? Well I probably resemble the world's most confused person ever.
Lorenzo reaches the bottom of the stairs and turns, heading for two closed double doors.
He literally throws the two doors open with crazy force , Parker and I quickly exchange glances and follow Lorenzo inside the room.

The first thing I notice are screens ,of all sizes ,big small and they are actually quite a number of them.
It all looks so techy but pretty expensive , the room it self is huge .
There are a few desks with screens sitting atop them and wires running across the room.
There's only one window and it's covering almost half of the wall opposite me ,  the curtains are closed with a small opening.The walls are painted a dull blue and the room has little lighting probably because there's a lot of screens on but the light switch is off most likely.

Lorenzo has situated himself on a chair facing a screen that looks to have a bunch of numbers constantly appearing and disappearing.
Parker walks towards where Lorenzo is sitting , and clears his throat .

"Ahh... I didn't believe it at first and thought it was some glitch but--" Parker is cut off from speaking by a seething Lorenzo.

"You should've called me sooner Parker , this person seriously knows what he's doing!" He says, typing really fast on the keyboard , he's hands are moving too fast and I'm still clueless as to what is happening. He looks really furious yet focused .

"I know , I'm sorry but after I saw that he got past the first firewall to your  program , I got worried and immediately came to call you" Parker says , glancing down.
Lorenzo just slightly shakes his head , sighing as a reply.

I see this as a window of opportunity to make a remark on how I'm still clueless as to what is going on.

" Ummm guys? What's wrong? What's going on? I --" I'm interrupted by a rude Lorenzo who's clearly just acknowledging my presence.

"Shut up! I'm trying to concentrate here!" He bellows , I just choose to ignore his stupid self and turn to Parker hoping he's more forthcoming with an explanation.

He rolls his eyes at Lorenzo's brazenness and turns to me ,
" Well you know how we do all our things digitally?the hacking? Posing of identities? yeah all that requires complex programs , most of which dear ole' Lorenzo designed. We have a number of them to help us stay as invisible as possible, making sure we don't leave any digital footprints or worse get hacked and everything to be found out."

I nod in understanding and motion for him to continue ,

"Well it seems one of the programs Lorenzo designed that specifically scans millionaire and billionaire accounts every 10 minutes --"

Okay he is losing me.

" Wait  .... Wait what do you mean millionaire or billionaire accounts? 10minutes?"

"Let me  explain Chichi ! As I was saying Lorenzo's program targets those bank accounts with a chain of zeroes and it immediately notifies him on which one seems the weakest in security and he works on getting past their firewalls and boom we start transferring money into our ghost account , but we just don't transfer millions on start. We start with a few hundreds that way , it takes them time to notice but we go higher as time moves such that by the time they notice our program has already become too complex and comfortable with their account that even if they freeze the account we'll get past that easily "
