The Nothing Girl Chapter Two Story of my Life...(Part 1)

"Amber.... Amber!"

I woke with a start to my friend yelling my name.

"Amber! Wake up!" she yelled.

I drowsily lifted my head and rubbed my eyes. I stretched and yawned loudly. "What Vivian?" I asked sleepily.

Vivian leaned in and whispered, "Your face is covered with paint, and people are staring!"

I instantly sat up and covered my face with my hands, "How did that happen!? Is it bad!?" I whispered back.

"Um, Amby. I don't like doing this, but I'm going to be totally honest, you look like you walked out of a Lady GaGa music video..." Vivian responded.

"Oh crap. Maybe I should go to the bathroom." I muttered.

"Amby, I don't think that would be a good idea." Vivian said. I could see the concern in her eyes and I knew we were thinking the same thing.

The Diamonds.

The Diamonds were the most popular girls in school, and also the meanest.

Anyone who wasn't pretty enough, rich enough, "SEXY" enough, or even a little bit of a total nerd would be ditched and become the innocent victim of The Diamonds' wicked ways.

You had three main girls, and a bunch of other girls who followed them anywhere.

The first main girl of the three is Addie. She may seem so freaking pretty, but she's the dumbest girl you'll meet. She's just lucky her parents are so rich, because each year her parents have to PAY the school a ton of money to get Addie into the next grade.

Then you have Bridgette. She may seem all honest, and trustworthy, and LOYAL!....Not. Bridgette is the blabber mouth who knows every detail about everyone and is always fresh on the latest gossip. You can NEVER trust her.

And last, my least favorite, GISELE. She's like the leader of The Diamonds. She's PRETTIER than Addie and Bridgette, she's "SEXIER", RICHER, and definitely not even a bit of a total nerd. And she's always trying to go on a diet, but it never works out. Ever.

The Diamonds always tease and bully Vivian and I.

They bully Vivian about how she has no clothes and that they are richer than her. As well as calling her a nerd and geek. They say she never talks so she has no friends.

Then they tease me about not being pretty just because I have braces and that no likes me because I'm a wallflower with no talent. The Diamonds call me a nerd like Vivian too because I wear nerdy looking glasses and put my hair into a CUTE, messy bun.

"Amber, I love you, but I'm way too terrified to run into The Diamonds! I don't want to get called names by them again...", Vivian murmured to me.

"Yeah, yeah. I understand Viv." I responded back, "By the way, how did my face get like this?"

"Um, well, you were painting, and, um. You fell asleep and, SPLAT. Your face falls into the painting...", Vivian told me.

I groaned, "Ugh. Whatever, I'm just going to go to the bathroom to wash it off."

"... MYSELF." I added.

I stood up and lowered my head, while pulling up my infinity scarf and covering the rest of my face with my hands.

I sneaked past my art teacher, Mrs. Vestøl, and into the empty hallway of Woodperch High.

I made it about halfway to the bathroom before, just my luck, Bridgette stepped in front of me.

"Well, well. Lookie what we have here." Bridgette snickered evilly.

As I was being stared down by Bridgette, Gisele walked up behind her, "Oh my god Bridgette! Where were y-" Gisele instantly stopped once she saw me.

"Amber? What are you doing? And why are you covering your face?"

"...Hey Gisele!!" I said in a fake friendly tone, "I was just, um, doing, er... going to..." I struggled to find an excuse.

"What Amber? Having trouble coming up with words because you're so stunned by my beauty?" Gisele said, with a dramatic hair flip while Bridgette groaned and rolled her eyes.

"Um... No." I murmured.

"What!?" Gisele slightly yelled.

"Er... Um, I mean yes! Yes!"

Gisele smirked, "That's what a thought."

"Well I-I'm just gonna g-go now" I stammered.

"Yeah, whatever." Gisele replied.

Just as Gisele and Bridgette were leaving, Addie came running towards them.

"OMG! I got totally lost! This place has like so many like, doors and like, hallways and stuff!" Addie gasped.

"Ugh. Addie, keep up with us!" Bridgette commented.

"WhatEVER Bridgette!" Addie huffed.

When The Diamonds walked away I quickly got up and ran to the girls' bathroom.

To my relief no one was in there and I could stop trying to hide my face.

Bad idea.

"Aha! I knew you were hiding something!" shouted Gisele.

"Hahahah!! You look like you, like just came out of a like, Lady GaGa like, music video!" laughed Addie.

Gisele snickered evilly and Bridgette giggled.

"Yeah. I know..." I whispered.

"Do you really think you could hide something like THIS from me!? Obviously not!" Gisele grinned " And now EVERYONE will see that you are a total FREAK!"

Bridgette quickly snapped a picture of me on her phone and handed it to Gisele.

Gisele stared at it and laughed loudly, "Soon you'll be the laughing stock of Woodperch High! I will make your life miserable! And I'm going to make sure of it!"

Addie and Bridgette giggled and Gisele grinned mischievously.

When they left I sat on the bathroom floor and stared out blankly. After a few moments, I stood up and washed the paint off my face.

"You have got to be kidding me." I muttered.

Gisele said she would make my life miserable. I knew she would, and I know that she'll make sure nothing or no one will stand in her way.
