Yeonjun ff: Run away with me

"Y/N hurry up you're taking forever!"

"Stop complaining, beauty takes time" I yelled back rolling my eyes.

"Well you're already beautiful." He whispered under his breath, just loud enough for me to hear him putting a smile on my face.

"And......done!"
I turn around, gleaming with pride to show off my outfit that I threw on last minute.

Yeonjun's lips slightly parted for a second before he regained composure and got up from the bed grabbing his bag. "Finally let's go." He said without looking up at me again. I noticed his ears turning slightly red and laughed to myself. 'Cute' I thought to myself before grabbing my bag and following him out.

We walked down the hallway and into the elevator in silence. "so where are we going?" He turned around and made eye contact with me. Damn I just realized how good he looked in that outfit.

"That's a surprise." He smirked. Why am I scared.

We left hotel and headed to where our car was parked. We got in and yeonjun started driving.

*time skip*

We arrived at a park with a lake in the middle. The sun was beginning to set and the view was breathtaking.

"Wow this is beautiful! How did you even know about this place?" "A friend gave me a tip."

*Yeonjun's head* 'Beomgyu can never know he was right'

"Stay here for a second." He said before dashing towards the car. He pulled out a picnic basket and blanket from the boot. When did he even....

He jogged back towards me and laid the blanket down near the river bed.
"Ladies first." He said gesturing towards the blanket.

I sit down and he sits next to me and opens the basket.

"Wow Yeonjun this is incredible! When did you even do all this?" I say looking at the spread of food with a watering mouth.

"I have my ways." He said with a proud grin.

We sat there eating together and laughing for what felt like hours. The sunset gleaming off of the water, the sounds of the ducks quaking and splashing around mixing with the sound of leaves blowing in the cool evening breeze. It was perfect.

"So you like it?" He said smiling at me with gleaming eyes.

"I love it." I say back, staring into his eyes.

"I knew you would." He said breaking eye contact. "The view is almost as beautiful as you." He said with a mischievous smirk. I pretend to gag and we laugh together.

"That was so cheesy." I say, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"But you liked it." He said, turning to me and smiling again.

"Guilty as charged." I giggled.

We enjoyed the view and each other's company for a little while until the sun fully set and the crimson sky faded into a pitch black, sparsely dotted with stars.

The trees in the park lit up with fairy lights making the view even more breathtaking.

I walk up towards the fence surrounding the pond and lean up against it, closing my eyes, taking a deep breath. After a couple of seconds I felt Yeonjun stand next to me.

"I'm guessing you like nature." He said standing closely. "Yeah, reminds me of home." I say opening my eyes and turning towards him.

I was startled by how close he was to me. And he turned his face towards mine. "You really do look beautiful."
