The News That Saves

Well we're starting off and let me warn you now, every intro is probably gonna be awkward and rough. However, welcome all!  Hope you learn something new or are just reminded! without further ado, everyone, the good knews! Enjoy

* shaking girl holding many unnecessary cards comes forth* Ahem... hey. Yeah it's just me. Let's get this thing rolling. The good news that saves is exactly  what it reads. News that saves. But exactly what do you need saving from? And what is this news I speak of?

So I want to tell you that we are all God's creation, every person on this earth is. No label makes them any less of God's image and his creation. While saying that, I also tell you not every human is God's child. Not everyone is saved and going to heaven. The problem is the lack of relationship with Jesus, the Son of God and the only Savior. So it's not a matter of what you've done, because even as a believer we still sin and aren't perfect. We still fall. It's a matter of not accepting Jesus and still living in sin(Continuously--I want to say). So what's the difference? Between Christians and the world? Well that we have accepted Jesus as our Saviour and LORD. By his grace we are saved through faith in Him, and not anything we done. This is only possible through Jesus. Bare with me here I can be a chatterbox. Only online tho... heh. Anyways!

(Famous Verse here!) John 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life

Jesus had come down from heaven, He lived a life pleasing and good. Perfectly and without sin. And He also died for our sins to pay for the penalty which is death.
(The Wages of sin is death-romans 6:23) He paid for it with finality! Which means He was the last and perfect sacrifice. Let us not forget that Jesus was resurrected, defeating sin and death. :)  By Putting our faith in him, believing in what he did, then repenting of our sins, are we saved.

Repent: Turn from sin and towards God. A change of mind and asking God for forgiveness.

Romans 4:4(NLT) ---4 When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned. 5 But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

Extra(?)                                        

-We have sinned and are heading to this place called hell bc of our sin

-We need to accept Jesus to be saved

Turn from our sins and to God(continuously)

Plus a whole adventure with ups and down, but don't worry God is with you

Romans 10:9-10 (NLT)  9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
