We serve a Faithful and Holy God who never changes. Nothing can rivail nor be as Him.
Our standards and His are different. Often I find myself comparing him to who I think he is, rather than who He actually is. That's an Idol we often make for ourselves
He isn't like a earthy friend who could leave you, nor a person who can disappoint.
He's faithful, like no other. Even when we aren't. Loving, even as we fall short.
He is light with no darkness in Him. Savior to those who put their trust in Him.
Just, to not take any sin or injustice lightly. Caring, to decide to save us while in sin
He's in control, always good and always there.
(Psalms 23: 6) "Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.
(Psalms 5:4-5)O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness; you cannot tolerate the sins of the wicked. Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil.
