~~~ hearing a knock a the door, keira opens it to see tyler looking down at her with a smile while holding her favourite flowers, sunflowers.
'how'd you know that they were my favourite?' she says with a smile plastered across her tanned face. 'i may have asked your friend emily' tyler responded looking down with a smile.
the two spent the whole day watching movies and eating junk food, laughing together as a comedic scene came on.
noticing that it was late tyler turned to keira, giving her a smile while placing his hand on hers. 'can we go for a walk through the park, there's something i would like to tell you' he says, uneasy with what her response could be. 'sure! i'll grab my bag'
walking through the park tyler would sneak small glances at keira, who walked by his side, turning away whenever she looked back to him.
'so...what did you want to tell me?' she says, making the silence between them disappear.
'oh right, sorry' he laughs. 'i...i'm not sure how to say this' he stops turning to face her, making the mood change in the atmosphere surrounding them.
'i get it, it's like you can't find the right words to say' she shrugged while smiling at him softly.
tyler's eyebrows furrowed in surprise 'exactly'.
'well whatever it is just tell me when you're ready, it's no biggie' keira replied.
tyler places his hand in keira's, interlocking their fingers, and she looks at him with a surprised look on her face.
'what if there was a way that i could show you how i felt' he places his free hand on her cheek, cupping the side of her face, leaning his towards hers so that she could practically feel his warm breath against her cheeks. tyler locks his eyes with Kiera's, giving her a look asking if she wanted to back away but she didn't.
she wanted this, she wanted him.
tyler leant down, considering him being taller than her, and pressed his lips against hers gently as they moved in sync. tyler could feel that keira wasn't responding, due to the shock at what just happened, so he pulled away, looking at her as though he may have ruined their friendship but keira swung her arms around tyler's neck, pulling him back into the kiss.
keira pulled away but not too much as their foreheads rested against each other.
'well i never expected that' she chuckled while smiling at the man in front of her.
'i like you keira...really like you' he says, cupping her face with his hands.
'i like you too ty' keira smiles, the wind picking up making her shiver.
'let me walk you home' tyler says, chuckling at the fact keira was shaking her hands to keep herself warm.
'i'd like that' she beams a smile across her face, looking up to him as he wraps his arms around keira's waist, pulling her closer to him.
